I did have a great review, but things have changed. Went with a friend for lunch around 1pm. Only 3 tables in the restaurant, we ordered our food and waited. When we received our food we didn’t have silverware. Told our server and waited about 10 minutes for her to bring us plastic silverware. Once she delivered our silverware, we didn’t see her again. My friend needed to go boxes so she got up to look for someone. As she went around the corner she noticed all the employees sitting at a table. She got her own boxes and continued to pack her leftovers up. We continued to pay, once again had to search for someone to check us out. Very disappointed in the service .

I ordered the fajitas with rice instead of the beans. I had all 3 meats (chicken, beef and shrimp). The food was hot and really delicious. I really enjoyed it. The girl that took my order was really nice and helpful. I would order from Amigo Juan again. I got the food to go so I didn’t eat inside the restaurant but it looked okay from the entrance where I was waiting.

not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had but certainly not the worst. Even though the choices are pretty slim for new Boston Texas this could be a lot better. The enchiladas were semi-cheesy and the fajitas were semi good. The decor was certainly bright and appealing but the staff was less than attentive and hard to find when you were out of a drink or needed something.

The food was exsquisit and the building looks very authentic. Service was fast and friendly, prices are decent, and if you are staying at the Americas Value Inn it is within walking distance. I came here near closing time but the quality did not get bad like some places do. Overall, I would recommend this place for anybody who is looking for some lunch or dinner. Breakfast options are limited. Prices are decent for the large amount of food that comes with the meal.

I’d say the food is more Tex-Mexish but still pretty good. The salsa had a tomato paste flavor to it but someone recommended the “green sauce” and it was a game-changer. Kinda like thin guacamole but had a nice kick to it. Chicken fajitas could’ve used more seasoning but was still good and the “fixings” included beans in a neat little tortilla bowl and 2 types of hand-shredded cheese which was a nice touch. Waitress was super friendly and attentive. Mostly full bar with 4 beers on tap(Coors Light, Michelobe Ultra, DosXX, Miller Lite) and a frozen margarita machine.

The green dip was so tasty and the food was really good chili Relanto was fabulous the chicken fajita was sizzling good little more seasoning would’ve been nice toilet paper was good in the bathroom parking lots large enough for a few trucks Pizza Hut takes up a lot of space but behind the restaurant there’s plenty of space or across the street there’s grass that doesn’t have a no parking sign so anyway it’s a nice walk from a few of the hotels I’m done

I believe that might have been the worst experience at a Mexican food place ever. Food was overpriced for what I got and just not good. They have a bar so get a couple drinks in you before you eat or if you have the corona you should be good . Either bad management or maybe it was every employee was under the age of 21 I do not know . This was my full nachos for $12 minus a couple chips. It had mushrooms and the meat was brisket and I got enough brisket on all my nachos to maybe put on a cracker so there is that .

Inconsistent quality , poorly trained employees that think it’s funny when you ask for a manager & try to address a problem you have had several times over. To be told there’s no manager on duty you can talk to. 0/10 would not recommend. Also gave SEVERAL chances over numerous years before making this review . Even served a roach once in my enchilada & why the meal was credited I still gave another chance to be disappointed. Just go on over to Maria’s. Their customer service is exceptional & they have someone that understands their menu answering the phone . Photo attached below of how she brought me my “remade” dinner because she was upset .
