Food was wonderful. Service was wonderful. We will be going back. The waitress switched out my plate because I am allergic to something that got in my bowl ( not the restaurants fault) they did not have to do that but upon hearing it between myself and someone with me they immediately switched my bowl. Above and beyond for something they did not have to do. Wonderful atmosphere. The pictures do not do the food justice

There were so many great things about Waylon & Honey I don’t know where to start! So I’ll talk first about the service. It’s fabulous!!! From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed! The place had a look, feel and scent like Grandma’s kitchen! But the food … oh my goodness gracious it was absolutely divine; and such huge portion we came home with enough for dinner!
My husband got the meatloaf sandwich with fries, and I got the fish (fried) with the most delectable onion rings I’ve ever had! Hidden under the onion rings were some crazy yummy hush puppies that tasted like my dad made!
The food was so good I’m sure we looked like those couples who sit across from each other and barely acknowledge each other. Every now and then we’d look up to find the other one chewing and smiling. The limit of our vocabulary during the meal was “mmmmm” and “Lord, this is good”.
When we left we were full, spent, and happy as could be with not a single complaint.

Exceptional omelet! Potatoes and biscuit very good. All 4 of us with different food items liked their food a lot. We ate outside in early September. We will definitely be back.

What an amazing place! Quick service, tasty food and HUGE portions. We visited on a Friday night and the room was nearly full. Even so, we were seated right away.
I had the fish and shrimp. Hubs had the meatloaf and we both were amazed about the amount on our plate!

A cute breakfast place with some need of improvement. We had a long breakfast here. The service was good but the food took forever. We ordered biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage biscuit and Corned beef hash. Food was decent and hearty- the biscuits could be fresher they seemed maybe a day old. I am giving 4 stars because the front of house staff were so kind and kept apologizing for the wait.

The food here was great. My wife and I had a 1/2lb burger with tater babies and onion rings. Her mother had a Ruben with sweet potato fries. The staff was polite and seemed to know everyone, so it’s popular among locals. Food is a bit pricey but it’s understandable being a small business.

This was amazing!!! It was recommended to us and we are so glad we went. I had the fish and shrimp. Yep, had it deep fried, you can get it other ways if you like, and I even had onion rings:). The whitefish melted in my mouth and the shrimp was a real good size and deliceous, too! Onion rings, primo! They hand batter there food, it does not come in battered and frozen on a truck. Very light batter! Super large helping, gonna have the rest for lunch today! GREAT service, real nice folks!

The food is always delicious and the staff are so friendly! The breading on the fried chicken is like no other. You have to try the Fried Chicken Honey Butter Biscuit and Spiced Apples!
