A variety of choices at every meal. Pleasant cooks, staff and kitchen/dining room manager. Willing to meet special dietary needs. Catering and bag lunch options for other facility venues on campus. Fresh, well stocked Salad bars and fresh sandwich topping/condiment bar. Creative entree offerings such as Gyros, Croissant French Toast, Breakfast Pizza. Great fresh inventory. Side private dining/presentation rooms. As CIU opened its doors to our leadership conference the Cafeteria Service laid out a spread with a smile.

I’m a student here so I have to deal with this food every single day.
Whenever there’s special events and student preview events, then yes I can say the food is absolutely spectacular. They go all out.
But something about during the school year, makes them just feel as if they can give us leftovers and expired food everyday and hope we can live with it. The only “fresh” options would be options that are fried or grilled, but anything else is absolutely terrible. It lacks taste, undercooked, the healthy options such as the salad bar is nothing but expired bitter options.
It’s terrible. Only God can improve it.

For a college cafeteria, the food isn’t too bad. There is a good variety of options from salads, sandwiches, and whatever the special is for that day. It does take a while to get through the lines during the lunch rush and you’ll want to make sure to get there before they close because they are prompt at closing the lines. Overall, it’s pretty average.

CIU Amazing experience the cafeteria was clean and the food was great. Only draw back is the fences on the backside of the girls dorm need repair and that is a concern for me. Safety needs to be a priority.
