This restaurant is attached to the hotel, but is way above most hotel restaurants and is worth a visit. My steak was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The sides were unique, fresh and delicious though a bit small. You can tell they use real fresh ingredients and care about quality and flavor. The whiskey list was extensive, but somewhat expensive when compared to similar places I have been. I would recommend trying one of their seasonal whiskey cocktails too.

We ordered onion rings without their Scorpion salt and it must’ve been sitting around the spice or something because we we both felt it unfortunately. The burger we received was also overcooked. Overall, we probably won’t be coming again.

It was my first visit to the area and I read about this restaurant and decided to try it. Absolutely phenomenal! A great location and fantastic service!
If you decide to sit in the bar, hopefully Laurel is working because she was so great. She suggested some different items on the menu and highly recommended the salmon. She was amazing and consistently checked in to make sure that everyone had whatever they needed. It’s a very welcoming environment and I wish I had this restaurant in my town.
Thank you, Laurel for great service, great food, and great conversation! Definitely recommend that anybody visiting the area stops by and asks for Laurel!

Great place to have a group dinner. The food was exceptional and the staff was friendly. Recommend the dessert chocolate chip cookie with ice cream! The onion rings were out of this world! Don’t get the beef soup, though, tasted like canned soup; it was terrible.

Wonderful cocktail bar conveniently located at the 1st floor of the comfort suites! The Whiskey bar has just about every Whiskey you could want. They also have a fantastic selection of top shelf drinks. The food is incredible with home cut fries and homemade ketchup that is incredible! Would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and a meal!

What a great place! Just found this spot, and it’s amazing. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is great. Service was pretty good but left a little to be desired. I think our server may have been new as all the other servers were spot on and hustling. If you have a chance, check this place out. Ribeye and fillet medallions were delicious. Drinks were off the chart. Had a smoked cherry bomb that was awesome!

Poor service bartenders need to be better trained food was ok at best. Bartender breaks a glass cleans it up off the dirty floor doesnt wash their hands and starts handling other drinks. Definitely would not recommend.

Wow! What a “hidden” gem, in my home town. The steaks were amazing cuts and prepared perfectly. The service from the hostess and waitress was friendly and attentive. I’m not a whiskey drinker, but selections were tasty and well prepared. I definitely will be returning when visiting my mom and nieces and nephews. The only knock is the same for most places in Carlisle, parking is inconvenient. But it’s definitely worth it if you want to enjoy a top fight dinner and drinks.

We travel from South Jersey to Pittsburgh often. 1794 is our half way spot. We stay overnight so we can indulge on everything they have to offer. I think we’ve had everything on the food menu. We really don’t have a favorite, as everything is delicious. We always start with a double old fashion and are slowly working our way through the scotch and whiskey menu. Wonderful restaurant!!
