We came here for dinner with two other couples and sadly we were disappointed. The prior reviews and website indicated they had a bunch of craft brews on draft and upscale food. Due to some issue with their bar they had a handful of cheap domestic beers in cans and wine by the bottle. The food was just okay and very expensive considering the quality wasn’t as expected. I had the chicken with penne and it was so very salty, the salt overpowered the smoked flavor. Of the six of us that dined together, one said her meal met expectations and she got the volcano pork dish. The service was attentive, everything was very clean (including the restroom), the restaurant was quiet and easy to talk. I wish I could recommend this spot but based on our experience with the food quality and the high price I can’t. We don’t mind paying for exceptional food but not for average dishes.

The Caesar salad has real bits of anchovy, which I haven’t seen in many moons.
Wine list was expansive, service was great. Temperature was nice, especially for a date night.
Steak Dianne was incredible, but the ribeye left much to be desired. The tuna nachos were pretty good.
Order the bread pudding wowee. Will be back next time and will choose a “better” wine.

Went with a party of 7. Service was great. Most of the party was very happy with their food, particularly the steaks and lamb chops. Bread pudding was also good. Highly recommend. Lasagna special was a miss. Bring your own wine for a corking fee.

This is a cute place in Boerne with great food, excellent service (very attentive) and a unique atmosphere…thank you Kylie (aka Emma Stone) for making our evening memorable! I had the Steak Diane with twice baked potato and a Tomato gratin; hubby had the ribeye, twice baked potato and mushrooms. Both dishes were outstanding! We shared the Crispy Crab Cakes as an appetizer and the Créme Broülée for dessert. Both were excellent as well! We had a nice California Cabernet, would love to see them carry some Texas wines!
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, they have seating for many party sizes from 2 to 6 or 7…a family friendly establishment. Our server mentioned tonight that they have been in business for almost 20 years so they must be doing something right! No parking lot, but street parking was easy for us to find.

Normally I give the grille a 5 star. We went today (Sunday) to try their Texas Meat Co. barbecue. I ordered fatty brisket and was brought some really lean brisket. Didn’t even try it but it looked really dry too. The waited brought back some that was well marbled and tasty. I was quite surprised all I had was brisket, no onions or pickles. I thought those were standard condiments in Texas. Had to ask for BBQ sauce. The potato salad wasn’t all that good but I’ll say that’s probably a preference thing. My wife got the grilled brisket& cheese sandwich which she liked. Overall the food was good I’m thinking the big problem was the server who’s attitude is say was less than what I’ve come to expect from the grille. Going forward I’ll stick with the days they serve fine food as it’s always excellent!

We came in through the bar area for a lunch meal. They walked us back to the restaurant area to a booth. The atmosphere felt like a mix of sophisticated and casual. The service was fantastic and the food was so wonderful. I will be returning for their dinner menu sometime. We had the loaded BBQ potato with a Cesar salad, and the chicken noodle soup with a Brioche grilled cheese! Absolutely perfect. They have various different ice creams to try and some other desserts.

We had a nice special occasion birthday dinner here. Great wine selection and very good options for by the glass. The steak was very good, just not quite five star good for the price. Our server was a bit scarce, but nothing too bad. Overall I highly recommend for a special occasion.

Cypress Grille was very nice, they have a front bar with a rustic interior and tables for small and large groups. The front area is a bar with tables and then the main dining area is toward the back. They served some rosemary bread with oil as a starter which was great. They have specialty soup which was shiner beer cheese soup over bread, all of which was great. For dinner I had the pork chop with two sides which were black truffle Mac and cheese and twice based potatoes. All were well cooked and seasoned and service was quick. Dinner here is expensive but the environment is casual family friendly dining and I look forward to coming back sometime soon.
