Went into the restaurant on yesterday and ordered (2) ham classic meals. There were 3 associates working and very distracted talking about being tired of working in the food industry , not liking weekend work and getting a second job. Very negative to hear while waiting on my food. Sarah took my order and according to the receipt she got everything correct and so we thought the order will be correct as well as it always is but usually there’s another crew that’s working. I received my order and did not check the bag until I arrived home. I opened the bag and was very disappointed as I had (2) turkey sandwiches on a hamburger bun smothered in a spicy honey mustard. I immediately called and informed the lady who answered the phone that my order was made I correctly she immediately said without asking any information that that’s what I ordered I said well how is it that I ordered 2 turkey sandwiches and my receipt indicates I ordered a ham classic. She said oh I’m sorry she then asked for my name and telephone number and said that the GM will be calling me tomorrow which is today to either replace the order or refund. I did not receive a call from anyone hence the reason why I’m submitting a review because this situation could have been rectified but the unprofessional staff failed to do so. I usually enjoy HBH and never have any complaints but lately the staff has not been up to par. Please look into who you have working and representing your company

I visited this location on 10/08. I’ve become a regular here and usually order the same thing — a Turkey Classic, toasted. This time, I called in my order for pick up and I accidentally forgot to say “toasted” but realized as soon as I walked in. When I asked if it could be toasted, the employee told me no, but that she could make me another one and charge me for two sandwiches. That response felt unreasonable and condescending. After a brief exchange she did later offer to attempt to toast, to which I declined as it should’ve been considered first.
As a frequent customer who even used $9 in rewards on this visit, I expected better customer service. I was also cut off multiple times while placing my order, which is likely why I forgot to mention “toasted” in the first place. I left disappointed and unfortunately won’t be returning to this location.

Ms. Zondra was absolutely amazing! She took the time to help me pick out the best option for my family with such kindness and patience. But what truly set her apart was her incredible compassion—she could tell something was wrong when I walked in to order my food. Without hesitation, she came around from behind the counter, gave me a hug, and prayed with me. That moment meant the world to me. I went to try and t lunch from Honey Baked Ham in Pooler today. Upon walking in the lady at the register was very nice but the lady cleaning the metal rack was very rude. She yelled “we are not making sandwiches right now”. It’s one thing to let customers know what food options you are offering at that time, but deliberately yelling is another thing. I will not be returning to this location.

I really loved my experience at this location with Ms. Zondra! Firstly, she greets everyone who comes in so sweetly and this generates regulars; she has customers that have “usuals”. The location is kept spotless and is so cutely decorated! My sandwich was SO good that I had to pull over so I could really eat! I’ve also had the ribs & potato au gratin from Honey Baked Ham and they are amazing.
