I’ve been dying to come here to try their dim sum. I finally remembered to come on the weekend with the family. I usually try out new places without my family during the week so it was hard for me to remember to come here when they have dim sum. This place was very busy on a Sunday afternoon.
Everything we ordered looked great when it came out, however, most of the dishes were cold. I guess it was suspicious how quickly all the dim sum dishes came out. Like the baked pork buns were room temperature cold. The only dishes that were warm were the ones on the steamers like shumai. Even the roast duck was cold. Luckily everything we ordered tasted good. And my favorite egg custard tarts hit the spot. They were also cold, but I’m just happy to have some.
The sesame balls were huge, but the filling was lacking. There was a similar but savory dish (I don’t remember ordering) that had the smallest amount of filling, but it tasted good but it really left me feeling I needed more filling. They were both came out cold too. I would avoid these next time as well as the ribs.
We ordered a couple made to order dishes like fried rice and beef chow fun. I didn’t have any fried rice but everyone seemed to like it. I always love chow fun which is a fat rice noodle dish. So I was happy to see this on the menu. The portion seemed very small for a Chinese restaurant which I always think of as family style eating. I almost want to award it as the smallest portions of any Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to.
I really wanted to love this place, but the cold food and small portions made me hesitant for a 5 star. I still am so thankful there is a place for dim sum and chow fun in the area.

Decent Chinese style food. Reasonable prices for good food overall. The fried beef chohofun was excellent. Great flavor, and beef was very tender. The orange chicken is ok. Flavor was a bit off and the chicken was tough and chewy. Recommed the egg drop soup. On the down side, the salt shaker was disgustingly dirty and greasy.

Always Very good food, very good service.
One of our go-to places for chinese food in Huntsville.
Very good egg rolls and egg drop soup.
I prefer hot tea with my meal (or beer) as chinese restaurant sweet (iced) tea has a different flavor. Their hot tea was excellent.
I normally get the cashew chicken and my wife typically gets the Mongolian beef. Less dried noodles on hers this time but both very good.
We both prefer no onions so she got fresh fried rice without, and it was excellent.
Late lunch was still a little busy.

They offer dim sum on Saturdays and Sundays only… we initially went on a Sunday for Dim Sum, we found everything besides the steamed dumplings came out cold, even the roast duck. We gave it a second chance but on Saturday morning (since I had a theory the food would be nice and warm on the first day of the only 2 days dim sum is available). My theory held true, everything was hot to our liking and the taste was superb, very reminiscent of NYC Chinatown dim sum. The roast pork had crunchy skin, the baked pork buns were flavorful and the beef curry patty was the best I’ve ever had, the hot tea was perfect. Would go back 1000 more times but on Saturdays only.

The pot stickers were cold and the meat inside looked under cooked. We ordered the shrimp dumplings and never got them. The general tso chicken was cold. The only thing that was half decent was the hot and sour soup. I tried telling the waitress and she wouldn’t listen. She walked on by. Service was terrible.
Read the other reviews and save yourself a trip and your hard earned money and go somewhere else. We won’t be back.

Ding How II is great anytime for traditional Chinese (Cantonese) food but Dim Sum is a must. They only do it on the weekends and the place can get very crowded so be sure to get there around 10:45am as the doors will open at 11 unless you want to wait for a table. My number one Dim Sum recommendation will be the BBQ pork buns. Everything is great but the buns are by far my favorite!

Overpriced and didn’t even get what we asked for. Rude service. Ordered 2 sesame chicken and 1 general taos. The fried rice had been mixed with white rice to fill the container. Ordered this to go, so didn’t find out about the order being wrong until home 30 mins away.

We always love the service! Portion of food it’s amazing. Quality of the food it’s awesome. We usually order the same thing every time but today we order something different and it was great. We love this place! Special Chow Mein on top and Shrimp with vegetables on the bottom. Lunch specials, the come with soup and spring rolls.

Ding How has some fantastic Chinese food. I had the General TSO’s chicken with rice, spring rolls and the hot and sour soup. Also I tried the pork dumplings and everything I ate was delicious. I’ll definitely come back here next time I’m in the mood for Asian food.
