I had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the service was incredibly warm and friendly. The staff made us feel welcome right away and were attentive throughout the entire meal without ever being intrusive.
The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was full of flavor, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. You can really tell that care goes into both the ingredients and the preparation. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and authentic, and it’s definitely the kind of place where you’ll want to come back to try more items on the menu.
The decor also adds to the overall experience. The restaurant is beautifully designed with a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that makes it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.
Overall, fantastic service, amazing food, and a lovely ambiance. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Indian cuisine, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

UPDATE : OCTOBER 17 /25 I thought I’d give an updated review of this place that I’ve been coming for years. The staff and the owner are always spot on fantastic. The food is always incredible one of the best Indian cuisines and all of the lower mainland.
If you have not tried this place do yourself a favour and visit you will not be disappointed! There is a reason why I drive all the way from Brentwood Burnaby area over and over again lol

Me and my family have been coming here for many years, since their old location. The owner and staff are some of the nicest people in the area. The food always comes quickly and is always yummy. Some off the best Naans I have ever tried. would highly recommend coming here and trying butter lamb!

We order takeout from Aroma several times a year and it’s always amazing. The kids love it too. This year we visited the restaurant for Christmas dinner and the service was prompt and friendly. Everyone was full and we had leftovers for the next day. I’m looking forward to our next meal!

We used to enjoy their previous location, and the new space is fine, but we didn’t like the food. It didn’t seem fresh and the taste wasn’t great. Bt the bread was SO GOOD and fresh. The service was overly attentive—we were the only customers and were checked on constantly. It felt a bit overwhelming. The restaurant also needs a deep cleaning, especially the washrooms.

Food was excellent, great service and a very clean restaurant. Butter, chicken, lamb, curry, Mariani rice, curried calamari all were excellent.
No need to drive into Vancouver anymore for this type of food.

Ordered from here twice. The first time their butter lamb and curries were really good, the Nan was a little bit too thick and not good quality but the gravy made up for that.
Just ordered again last night and the gravies had no spices or flavour especially the meats. The chicken and lamb had no marination at all and were very dry in the gravy. Had no taste. I’ve never had such a badly executed Indian dish before so we will be looking for another place. I can’t be spending $50-$70 for dinner and it be cut short by whoever is the cook that day. Inconsistent.

My wife and I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Roti, Pulao Rice and Lamb Korma the other weekend. All the food was excellent. If you are looking for great Indian food, I highly recommend Aroma.

I love this place. Right when you walk in, the ambience is just dimly lit and romantic. They even have a mini waterfall fountain.
The staff were very nice and welcomed us to our seats. The menu was a bit expensive with the smaller portions, I kind of wish there were more curry, but the naan were huge! Our server even checked on us to see if our food was good.
We tried chicken korma and goat vindaloo. It was my first time trying goat. It tasted just like beef.
They even complimented me on my goose bag hehe. The food here truly was aromatic.
