The food was good. Portion sizes are huge so bring your appetite. Chicken fried steak was nice a crispy. The gravy paired well with everything. The “Star Bloody Mary” came with its own serving of amazing side and a piece of bacon(not pictured because I devoured it before I could get a good picture). Nice and quiet place with quick service in the mornings.

Bar was empty one wait staff claimed she couldn’t help w/ drinks. Bartender made the sweetest Old fashioned drink I’ve ever had. So nasty, he mushed up an orange & a cherry. The drink was red, from pouring narshino juice in my whiskey. Gross.
We sat in the patio area. No one checked on us. Bartender came out to smoke but didn’t make any contact with us, or ask if we needed anything. Charged me for the full Old fashioned drink & asked if I didn’t like it. I explained that it was too sweet and his response was that he may have put too much bitters in it. I thought to myself “that is the opposite of my dislike but, whatever “
I paid the 2 drink tab and will Not come back!.
p.s short blond woman was not very nice either. I work hard for my money and just worked a 68 hr week and wanted just a little bit of service but, was disappointed in the lack of effort.

A little gem in Longview, great bartender (Chase) food was good. Better than typical bar, they have amazing taco Tuesday deals, Happy Hour from 3-6pm and all DAY Sunday. Wing Wednesday, a lot of great deals and an even better environment. We’ll be back!

Casey (spelling) was great. I was in town for work and trying to find a place to eat and watch hockey. This has to be the cleanest sports bar I have ever been in. Bathrooms as clean as the rest of the place. Food was great and plenty of options. Many great beer choices. Would definitely recommend.

Been in Longview a couple weeks on a job and ate all over. Best steak in town two ribeyes two days in a row and the sides were delicious. Clean place and the staff was excellent. Thanks Kaycee for the choice recommendations. Great job

Not the same place as it was when J&D owned it but the food still is good. Wait staff seem to cater to the regulars and young guys, loads of flirting and forgetting the others are there to eat and have a nice relaxing cocktail.

I came in looking for drinks and some fish and chips ended up ordering the trail boss steak after seeing it come out from someone else’s order.. omg so glad I did.. im about to order another one to go so I can eat it later this place is “the best steak in Longview wa” great job to all the staff. The cook and especially our server chase.. he recommended my meal and the sides. After we talked. So good.. I actually ordered another steak meal different from my previous togo. So yes this place 5

The first 2-3 times we went food was fantastic. We haven’t had a great experience since, yet we kept coming back thinking it was a fluke. It obviously wasnt. Cold mac n cheese, gorgonzola burger with about a teaspoon of gorgonzola (the first time it had plenty), salad with wilted brown lettuce, food taking 30-40 minutes to come out when they dont appear to be very busy at all and then coming out over cooked. Tots so we’ll done they’re basically hollow, slider patties so over cooked they scraped our throat, au jus like gravy not broth, and the sampler platter has changed and there is no substitutions.
Over all, its drastically gone down hill, and there are better places to go.

We came here for the first time on 8/29/25 around 6 p.m., we wanted to try something new. We were completely ignored for almost 15 minutes after sitting, no one brought us menus and no one acknowledged us. 2 groups that came in after us got menus and drinks before us! The guy working the floor didn’t acknowledge us at all when we walked in and he looked right at us as we walked through the door. It made us feel unwelcomed. Finally a young lady asked for our drink order, then another 10 minutes for our iced teas and menus to arrive. We ordered a steak, a burger, and a pretzel and that took another 40 minutes. The steak was ordered at medium rare and came out almost well done, the steak was also way salty, the burger was ok, not great but not bad. The pretzel came out with both meals, we wish it would have come out before the meals like an appetizer (we understand it’s not a fast food restaurant but you would think with how long the meals took, they would have been decent). We didn’t leave because we both were hungry as it was dinner time and we made a plan to go here and didn’t want to have to wait at ANOTHER restaurant. We were very disappointed with the food and ESPECIALLY the service! Now mind you, it was not that busy, not all of the tables were full and literally 2 people sitting in the bar (this place is not that big lol). We won’t be coming back lesson learned.
