Literally the best donuts and pretzels I’ve ever had. The pizza is stellar too. This place never misses! No indoor bathroom (you have to use a port a potty) and they only take cash but hey it’s Amish

A wonderful bakery with fantastic handmade pretzels. They also have added a hot pretzel sandwich or pizza window for a quick lunch stop. We had brisket on a pretzel bun sandwiches today. So good! We will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I stumbled on this place while driving to Chillicothe and we’ll definitely be back! We both had the Reuben on a homemade pretzel bun, and it was out of this world. We also split a donut and it was the best either of us has ever had. Don’t pass up this great restaurant and bakery!

Really cool place. Be prepared to stand in line but they move quickly. Sandwiches are huge. Highly recommend toasted pretzel bun. Super fresh. Sweet treats are amazing. Apple fritter was so good.

I previously left a 5 star review, but after my last few visits, they don’t deserve it. I’ve frequented this business (and JR’s) for years, bringing new customers with me and recommending to others, but I can no longer recommend this place. First, the product quality has declined and I’ve purchased several baked goods that were stale. They’ve made our sandwich orders incorrectly the past few times, but the worst has been customer service. The women working here, especially the younger ones have a personality of a rock. We were at the window to place a sandwich order. A young girl sees us and starts walking toward the window briskly with a scowl as if we’re a bother to her. My husband greeted her and she refused to make eye contact or speak. I placed the order and she treated me the same way, wouldn’t even speak when I asked her a question, only a nod and no eye contact or thank you. We left. Decided to try it again 3 weeks later. Different young girl and same attitude. Slammed the number in my hand and said here’s your number…no thank you for our order. Really, who do they think they are? If it wasn’t for us “English sinners” they wouldn’t even have a business. We can cook and bake as well and better than they can. They’re lucky to have our business. They won’t be getting any more of my hard earned money.

First ever visit and was really anticipating it. I purchased 3 bakery items. A blackberry pie for my son’s birthday, a big tray of cinnamon rolls, and 2 chocolate covered creme sticks.
The pie was the worst blackberry pie I’ve ever had. It smelled like, and tasted like fish. On top of that, there were hardly any blackberries in the filling…and there wasn’t very much filling as it was. Strike 1.
The cinnamon rolls…were coarse and void of cinnamon. They were crammed in a plastic tray that was too shallow and the icing, which was the best part, mostly stuck to the lid when opened. Strike 2.
The creme sticks, the best of the 3 items, were maybe a 5-6/10. They weren’t very soft, they were cut in half so the creme filling could be added, and i thought the chocolate icing tasted pretty generic. Strike 3.
I live an hour away and to say I was extremely disappointed is grossly understated. Being very fond of Amish food and bakery treats for years, I’ve never had a disappointing experience…till last Saturday.

Everything that this place produces is absolutely delicious. The pretzel bun sandwich is my favorite. The peanut butter cookies were absolutely the freshest and easily most addictive I’ve ever tried. The huge pretzels w cheese dipping sauce were a big hit back at the cabin. If you’re in the area and really hungry, give them a try. Portions are very satisfying and the freshest you will find in the area.

Wonderfully delicious and large sandwiches freshly made. Scrumptious, mouthwatering baked goods. The place can be packed and there’s usually a line, especially on the weekends, but it moves fast. The trip out there is worth it and we always try to go when around. May 2021

This is one of our all time favorite family places. My Uncle Len from Nevada loves this place and when he comes to visit we go here and he takes stuff home! The pretzel sandwiches are Amazing!!! They’re almost always busy but service is super fast and friendly and we love to sit outside and have family dates here. There’s also tons of hiking nearby so you can make a day of it. Enjoy.

Great little amish bakery with TONS of sweets to choose from and a few lunch/dinner items. Went for lunch and got a pretzel bun sandwich and a few other things. The sammy was massive and actually tasted delicious. Several combinations of meats, cheese, and toppings available. Build your own style. Same thing with pizza. People rave about the pretzels and I understand why. They also have donuts, cookies, pies, cakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, bread, brownies, and more. All very reasonably priced in my opinion. Plenty of parking available as well as outdoor seating. This place gets busy on the weekends, waited in line maybe 10 min before ordering but the food came out pretty quickly.
