Great food and great service and a cozy little café style restaurant. The photo shows one quick that we shared. We split it and dug in before we could take a picture. Everything was amazing, biscuits and gravy were perfect. The seasoned hashbrowns are delicious and also really great sausage and salsa. The gravy for the biscuits is full of sausage and bacon.
A bit of a drive for us but totally worth it!

My son and I had breakfast and dinner on the same day. It’s a cute little dinner close to the Pomona Fairgrounds. Portions are very generous, the food is classic American dinner! A hint of 50’s vibe. Popular with the locals. Prices are reasonable. Servers are friendly. My favorite spot when we do to the fairground car events!

Here’s your review with a more polished and engaging tone while keeping your personality intact:

Roberta’s Village Inn is exactly what you’d hope for in a classic diner—warm, inviting, and full of old-school charm. Open since 1969, it has that timeless feel that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. Despite being packed, the wait was surprisingly short, which was a nice bonus.

The portions are generous, and the prices are fair. I ordered the Farm Style breakfast, which came with two eggs (I went with fried), bacon, and seasoned hash browns. That alone was plenty, but I also got to choose between toast, a pancake, or biscuits and gravy. Naturally, I went with the biscuits and gravy. Everything was tasty—the eggs were a little under-salted, but that’s an easy fix with the salt and pepper at the table. The hash browns were seasoned with Lawry’s, which gave them a nice kick, and the bacon was exactly as it should be: crispy and delicious. The biscuits and gravy were excellent, and I managed to sneak a bite of my wife’s pancake—also really good—but at that point, I was too full to keep going. Honestly, I felt like I needed to sprint through the streets of La Verne to burn off everything I just ate.

The only downside is that it’s cash-only. I know Roberta’s isn’t the only place in La Verne that still does this, but it’s 2025, and it’s just not the most convenient. Not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind.

Overall, this was a great first visit, and I’d definitely come back. Classic diner vibes, great portions, and solid food—what’s not to love?

What a great little quiet place to eat. I stopped in here for dinner while working an event in the area and the restrooms were clean and the diner was clean. The food came out fast and it was more than I could eat. The portions were great the old time you feel transport you back in time to that diner from the 50s that Somehow calms you. I would eat here again

Great spot for breakfast or lunch. Nice and cozy vibe and family friendly. I went here for breakfast on a Saturday with my family. They were busy but we were seated promptly. Our server took our drink orders right away, which was nice cause I love my coffee in the morning lol. Our sever was very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. My only complaint is that they ONLY accept cash and although they have an ATM machine in the back I hate paying fees using those. In this day in age cash only is not an acceptable customer experience.

First time here. After years of walking by this place, we divided to stop. Atmosphere was great.
Service was awful. Sat in 2nd room, inside.
Waited 7 minutes to be noticed by server and when asked if she was our server, she said, “I could be.” We left a generous tip for service which equals that of McDonalds.

This quaint Lil spot is truly nostalgic. I loved that home comfort feeling. As soon as I walked in everyone was super friendly.
But let’s talk about food!! It was an amazing home cooked meal. They gave you big portions. I got the country fried steak, with their seasoned hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. It came with a side of toast, pancake or biscuit and gravy. I picked the biscuit and gravy.
My daughter, who is 3, was already super hungry, so I asked if I could put her order in asap and they did so kindly. She was so happy when her Mickey pancake came out, along with her chocolate milk and whip cream. This was a hidden gem for me, so glad I came across it. I will be returning on a regular.

We were at a near by location for work but the job was cancelled for the day. We ended up going for breakfast at Roberta’s Village in and we all absolutely loved it! Retro feeling, beautiful old style interior with Christmas decorations to prepare us for the upcoming holidays. Outside was cold and rainy. The atmosphere inside was warm and welcoming. Our breakfast was delicious! The hot chocolate even more! Absolutely loved it! Cash only!
