I expect some background noise at Starbucks — that’s normal for a coffee shop. What I don’t expect is the staff being the loudest and most disruptive part of the experience.

During my visit, the employees were shouting across the counter and bursting into loud laughter repeatedly. It wasn’t customer noise — it was the staff. The atmosphere felt chaotic rather than welcoming, and it made it difficult to even hold a conversation.

To make matters worse, after waiting about 20 minutes, I realized I never received my coffee. I had to go back up to the counter and tell them they had forgotten my order. There was no apology or sense of urgency — just more loud chatter behind the counter.

The music was unnecessarily loud as well☹️

The drinks themselves were fine once I finally got them, but the overall experience was frustrating and unprofessional. A coffee shop should feel comfortable and at least somewhat relaxing. Instead, this felt disorganized and inattentive.

This is my first time going into this Starbucks off of 17; I placed a mobile order. It was 8:06 am on a Monday and it was not too busy. Maybe I caught them on a bad day? I wasn’t greeted nor acknowledged and they didn’t call out mobile orders as they were done. This is offbrand from all the other Starbucks in this area – as the ones I often frequent, truly go out of their way to welcome customers and make them feel seen. I’ll give this Starbucks a few more chances and update this review just in case it’s a one-off.

I visited this location for the first time today to meet a friend for coffee. Very convenient location off of 17. This location was very clean, neat, and organized. The staff there were super friendly and accommodating to us. I ended up going with a venti Caramel Frappuccino and it was made perfectly! We had a very pleasant experience at this location and I certainly will be back. I definitely recommend this location for sure!

Plenty of seating and parking. Service was swift and efficient. The food was good, of course prices are high these days so that’s always con, but I appreciated the atmosphere and service I received. Good stuff, I’d come back if I was in the area, and had a gift card.

Ordered a venti chai latte and it tasted like watered down milk. Also ordered a venti chai latte with espresso shots and was just given a latte not chai. Maybe the young man doesn’t know how to make chai? The pumpkin loaf was good but most of the tables were dirty. They did come out to clean once our order was made.

Just stopped in for a Holiday drink ofa Grande Peppermint Mocha and a piece of Banana Nut bread. Only $11.75 🙁 I also got a free reusable grande size cup. Service was quick and friendly.

This place is terrible. I ordered a shaken espresso, but asked to hold the ice. The venti cup which cost over $7 dollars was filled it up maybe a quarter of the way. I asked them to please top it off with oat milk since that’s what every other Starbucks does for me. They gave me a hard time saying how I have to order a different drink, it’s going to cost extra, and they can’t do it, etc. Terrible service, this is a stupidly expensive drink and it’s not unreasonable to ask for additional oat milk to fill the cup that I’m paying for.

The lady at the window gave an iced coffee with the wrong flavor even after acknowledging that the coffee and the price she wrong up was wrong. I ended up paying more and not getting the correct coffee. This is definitely a mistake that could have been easily avoided if active listening and attention to detail took place.

Bad experience yesterday morning. I visit this location a few times a week and every visit could go wrong or right. Yesterday I ordered a matcha with raspberry syrup and oat milk and when I got to the window the barista asked if I wanted raspberry or brown sugar in the matcha and I told her raspberry and she immediately says “dang it!” When I’m being handed my order my matcha is bright green. I know the drink is wrong because I’ve order the same drink multiple times every week since the raspberry drop. I let the cashier know my drink was supposed to have raspberry and he tells me it’s in there. I try the drink and it’s just matcha. There’s not even oat milk in the drink. I tell him there’s no raspberry because it would be a greyish brown color and it’s bright green. He even tried handing me a different matcha drink but I knew it wasnt mine. We have a little back and forth then the barista who asked if wanted raspberry or brown sugar then grabs the drink from the cashier and says “I’ll just redo it” and I hear her dump my drink out- I hear the liquid and ice splash in a sink loudly! It was giving unprofessional and rude. She knew she made a mistake after asking when I got to the window what did I want in my drink. As she’s remaking it she tells me she added raspberry but not enough. The drink was absolutely disgusting and I’m so over trying to support this location when I never know if im going to have a good experience.
