I saw this place on the map and had to try it out. I had the mapu katsu with tempeh. It was very good! The tempeh was crispy and the mapu was flavorful. Not bad for $20 as it fed me twice. Would come back.

I was so hungry and this delicious Popeye sandwich hit the spot and over filled me!
Flavor + nutrition was on point.
I will definitely be making the Peace Cafe a part of my regular food rotation
*Special shout-out to Moana for the great customer service it made my experience 10/10!

This place was a trek to get to, (we were near Waikiki) but I’m glad we made the trip. I got the acai bowl, which was lovely but a lot smaller than what I’d expected. My friend got a proper plate of food that was so delicious, we ordered the Peace Sampler after devouring it, leaving my acai bowl for dessert.
You should go.

Great little vegan cafe. Wide range of options for food, drinks, and desserts, all 100% vegan. The Katsu Curry was delicious. Also loved the passionfruit lemonade. Staff are very friendly and even have us some recommendations on local markets and vegan spots.

Beautiful little shop open from breakfast to dinner. The shop owner is lovely and it’s beautifully decorated. The food was so good, I’ve never had such authentic vegan katsu curry before and the garlic crispy potatoes were crunchy and flavourful. Loved everything.

Cute little cafe where all the food is made when you order. Super fresh ingredients. Friendly service. Street parking. I come here for breakfast and lunch. They just started breakfast service and their deluxe pancake was amazing with beautiful fresh fruit in top with vegan butter and whipped cream. I would highly recommend coming here. The menu is big and they even have ramen!

This is a really modest restaurant in what seems to be emerging as hub of vegan/vegetarian restaurants in the Waikiki area. We drove past the restaurants a few times before the really inconspicuous sign. I am guessing they primarily rely on word of mouth to get business.
Regardless, they are doing good business. They had a steady stream of customers either eating in or for take out. The young girl behind the counter was really really patient considerate with everyone. She took time to explain the dishes, their contents and went inside to check on the allergens at our request.
Food is moderately priced. Their Peace Plate was awesome. Other dishes we ordered like Tempeh BBQ were average. Their breaded tofu was deep fried and too rich for my taste.
I wish them the best and look forward to trying out some of their dishes.

Katsu curry was great, the bibimbap bowl no so much. There is plenty of street parking.

A super cute lil vegan Japanese cafe! We ordered the katsu curry (half tempeh half tofu) and Hanoi sandwich. Both were delicious and the portion size was very generous. I especially enjoyed the creamy peanut sauce in the sandwich and all the veggies packed in it. We also ordered the strawberry smoothie and a black sesame mochi cake, both of which were so tasty. You could tell everything is freshly homemade and the ingredients are very clean, transparent, and healthy. There isn’t much seating inside or outside, but overall the place is very home-y, cozy, and comforting. Great vibes and great vegan food!

Let me start by saying I am not vegan, my best friend is. I had the BBQ Tempeh and she had the Katsu. Both excellent meals. The portions are on point!!!! I was completely stuffed and had to take some home. I highly recommend this place to those vegan and non vegans folk. The girl who was working there was rocking the front and the kitchen, major props to her for keeping a kind face and taking care of everyone.
