Stopped by this amazing, woman-owned empanada food truck and WOW Everything is made with love — and she even makes her own sauces! I tried the spinach and the beef with potato and both were packed with flavor and perfectly crispy. My absolute favorite sauce was the jalapeño cilantro Highly recommend supporting her!

Drove over an hour just for this, and it was absolutely worth it! Tastes just like the empanadas I had in Puerto Rico. I’ll definitely be coming back. They were even kind enough to give me a mango slushy and some free hot sauce. I tried all the flavors — everything was great, but the beef, the pastries and the ones with plantain (pastelón) were my favorites. Highly recommend, 10/10!. Thanks for having me guys

Truly excellent. Got the beef & potato and chicken & potato pies. Seasoning was great, tasted like everything was homemade. I really loved the cilantro lime sauce, I put it on everything but honestly the pies didn’t need a sauce, it tasted good on its own.
At first I thought they were going to trick us by putting a bunch of potato in it as filler, but no, actually there were only a few tiny potato cubes and a whole lot of meat. Also since this was my first time going, I couldn’t decide how many to buy: 3 seemed perfect for me to fill me up without having leftovers, 4 would have been too much, and 2 would have been decent as a snack. There was plenty of parking, and the atmosphere of the area felt so awesome. Also the area is a shared food truck park with 3 other trucks so it was nice to browse what other trucks were offering. Before I went, I thought the price of each pie was a little on the expensive side, but now after eating 3 and getting full for $15, I realize now that that’s pretty much same price I would have spent elsewhere anyways, so its fair, no complaints here. The cashier had a cool vibe. They accept card payments.

The food here was sooo good! The empanadas were packed with lots of delicious filling and perfectly seasoned. We ordered the beef and potatoes and the apple both were absolutely fantastic. The crust was crispy and golden, just how it should be. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family. Don’t miss out!

Stopped by here for some empanadas while on a road trip down I-35. Was able to walk right up and place my order. So many options from sweet and savory empanadas. She was very helpful in making some recommendations and telling us about some of the most popular items.
Ordered a good mix of sweet and savory. They smelled so good, so ate 1 before getting on the road. Even after getting home, heated them up and were all delicious. I wish this place was closer, but will be a stop on my next road trip.

I got the guava and cheese empanada which so delicious. Not too sweet but very satisfying. I also got a spinach and mushroom empanada which was sooooo good. Generous fillings and very flavorful. The owner herself was very sweet and just doubled down that this is a great place.

These pies made at a food co-op close to Texas State are absolutely delicious. The savory pies come with sauces and both are tasty but the green one is a little spicy (I like that but I know that everyone doesn’t). The sweet pies were absolute heaven. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them. Great snack (or meal) for students.

So. Amazing. Stopped by before shopping at the HEB right by the truck and was blown away. Incredibly flavorful filling, delicious pastry crust lightly fried to perfection – not too oily in the slightest! The sauces that come with the pies are phenomenal as well – a creamy, tangy sauce, and a mild herby green salsa. 1000/10 would recommend.

The specials never fail she is a culinary genius from the sauces to the pies. Our favs are the pastelone and the spinach mushroom and cheese pies. Chefs kiss!!!’
