The Flavor vs. The Heat! “Wow! The Head On Boiled Shrimp here is absolutely phenomenal! It truly transports you straight to Louisiana! The service was fast and friendly. My only note I brought my mother in and she was a Lil bit too intoxicated…that made her rude and disrespectful . So I would like to apologize to the waiter for the confusion but it was worked out for the better! And I didn’t get to leave a generous tip at the time and I also apologize for that…next I return I will make sure to tip generous . They advertise ‘authentic spice,’ and they mean it! But for the unbelievable depth of flavor, it’s easily 5 stars. I can’t wait to come back for the Gumbo!””This place is a hidden gem! We have been going here for several years now, it’s our fave to go Cajun food, even the kids. The seafood always taste fresh and huge servings. The place is very clean, love the ambiance and the servers are very attentive. I highly recommend this place.

We came in on Friday afternoon for an early dinner. There were just a few people here so it was very quiet. The restaurant is large and open. Service was fast and Tondey was friendly and professional. The food was quite yummy (we both had platter #1). We will definitely be back.

I had a girlfriend coming into town and I wanted to send her to a good crawfish place. I suggested this one because I’d frequent there every so often. We arrive with her daughter, my husband, myself and my two children. I was really looking forward to the food we were promptly seated however there were only two other tables occupied at the time. after sitting down, I asked the server how large are the crawfish he began to tell me that they were a good size however they were frozen and the flavor is not as good. I then begin to ask him OK if it’s not as good is there a way I can test one out to see if it’s to my liking because we specifically went to the restaurant for the crawfish he told me it was not their policy to sample one. I then asked well can we ask someone because I do not want to buy it and then not be satisfied he said there was no one there no manager or the chef,no one could override that policy. I said so if I ordered them and did not like it. I would then return my full order because I was not satisfied. I then asked him did that make sense when I could just sample one. He then said sorry that’s just our policy. Luckily the people behind me had ordered the crawfish and I asked to sample one of theirs. Disturbing their meal. They allowed me to sample and I decided to order the crawfish not the best at the time but I was in a mood for it, and I wanted it. I did express how unsatisfied I was with that level of customer service, especially when I was told that the crawfish was not great by the server. Not to mention, he said he was scared. To talk to the chef to ask if they could give me a sample. After we got our bill, we noticed that they applied an automatic 20% gratuity on our check even though we asked him to split the bills because there were two individual parties. we were just sitting together. I’m not upset about the gratuity, but I am upset that this was not posted when we walked in and we could’ve made additional choices to either stay or leave we ended up spending $275.50 , 50 of those dollars ended up being the automatic gratuity added because we were a party of six. I will not be going back to this restaurant to eat again. Typically they have wonderful Crawfish, but there are so many crawfish restaurants in Katie. I’m sure I can find another. This is just a message to management. They need to rethink how they do their business.

This place did not disappoint! Everything we ordered was fresh, hot, and delicious! Our server, Bao Tran, was amazing and took very good care of us. He even suggested one of the meals we should order. I’m going to call it the “Candy Coated Lobster”! It was so good, I was mad we couldn’t eat the shell! Also I have never had fried squid the size of potato wedges! I appreciate that they enforced mask wearing and social distancing, allowing us to enjoy our meal and experience. We will definitely be returning!

Came here while waiting for our daughter at bounce bounce and were surprised on the food quality. Try the headless shrimp with Cajun spice. Also the fried cat fish. Will come back again!!!

Keep and eye on your check. Food was okay, but service was lacking. Offered $5 off for a 5 star google review, but didn’t honor. Also charged me $5 extra PER snow crab cluster from listed market price and said it was “tax”, even though tax was a separate line on the bill…
I left without getting bill fixed, but I won’t be back.
