Absolutely loved our pre-show dinner! The service and food was fantastic, and the decor is beautiful. Our waitress Madison (with the strawberry tattoo) was literally perfect. Everyone was so nice, and the atmosphere felt chic and classy while also being vibrant and fresh. The grilled cheeses with tomato soup were our favorite! We’d been hoping have the bacon wrapped “cheap dates” but they had sold out before we arrived, but the brussels were a worthy replacement. When we asked for coffee, the brought us a French press which was such a fun way to end the meal!

Love the building itself – had driven by multiple times thinking it was someone’s cute house. Glad there was a parking lot and we didn’t have to fight for street parking. Went for the $10 Wine Wednesday flight. Enjoyed the sweet selection! The drinking glasses were so cool. I enjoyed the salmon and the noodles were a yummy touch.

I made reservations for my husband’s birthday here because it’s a cozy, intimate spot! Originally we were seated by the window, but we like sitting next to each other so we moved to the bar.

The bar has a cozy feel, and the bartender was great! She knew her stuff and made excellent drinks. Espresso martini, Dirty Martini, Manhattan, and Sazerac.

The food is great – I had the steak frites and my husband had the duck confit grilled cheese and tomato soup (yes, on his birthday – it’s his fav!) and everything was cooked perfectly!

This is a great spot for an intimate date night. We’ll definitely be back!

One of my favorites places ever. Service was amazing and food was absolutely delicious. Their miso honey salmon was the best one I’ve had this year. It was good on flavor and I love how the bottom was crispy but the rest of it was light and fluffy it was like a surprise and the noodles that went with it were AMAZING. For the drinks I ended up getting a wine flight, I wish they had some sweet reds but some of them were semi-dry which was really good and then I also LOVE the Thistle and Honey I am a sucker for old fashions so that drink was amazing. Their bread pudding was out of this world and I loved how they had a dessert wine which went PERFECT with the bread pudding

We had a great New Year’s Eve dinner here with friends. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. John Mark even helped me when the bottom of my heel decided to have a malfunction. Our server Rachel was polite and bubbly. We will certainly come back.

My fiancee and I moved to Norfolk about six months ago and Press 626 instantly became a favorite of ours. The food and drinks are always excellent and the atmosphere has a unique charm — feeling both like an elevated dining experience and a relaxed neighborhood staple.

We recently booked Press 626 to host a private party celebrating our engagement and we were so happy with the entire experience. John met with my mom and I several weeks in advance to discuss the food and drink selection, music, and our vision for the party, and he took great care of us throughout the evening of our event. He greeted my fiancee and I with drinks at the door as we arrived and ensured that the night ran smoothly, keeping the buffet stocked and organizing a beautiful champagne toast. He and the rest of the staff were extremely attentive to myself and all of our guests. Press 626 truly gave us a night to remember, one that my fiancee and I will cherish forever.

Whether you are looking for a casual spot for a date night or a venue for a private event, I cannot recommend Press 626 enough!

Absolutely loved this spot! Such a cozy and inviting wine bar with an amazing deal on Wednesdays $10 wine flights that are definitely worth it. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and I didn’t have to wait at all to be seated. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. The food was a huge highlight too delicious and very reasonably priced. I had the burger with goat cheese and peppers, plus a side of tater tots, all for just $15, and it was fantastic. Great food, great wine, and great vibes. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Very good food, flexible reservations, kind and professional staff (thanks Maddy) and nice happy hours! The duck confit grilled cheese was the star of the show, as well as the cheese board. The bisque and gnocchi needed a bit more flavor and texture. Overall great food, wonderful presentation, and good prices. Oh, and try the chocolate mousse!

Food was pretty tasty, but small portions, and my gnocchi had zero bite. Wines had a laughable price multiplier which just meant that most would be drinking mid wine at very fine wine prices. Seems unnecessary and exclusive, probably also bad business. Only one Chateauneuf du Pape on the list and it was 225. Dollars! Great atmosphere and service. Though, server had no knowledge of wine or the list, strange for a wine bar. The wine prices will make this a very rare visit for me.
