We ordered the fettuccine deluxe as it sounded delicious and pictures online looked good but when the food came out it was sitting in a pool of oil that was supposed to be garlic cream sauce. We unfortunately had to send it back but a woman behind the bar who I presume may have been a manager was able to take the meals off of the bill for us. We then decided to get a pizza to go which was alright but nothing special.

Service is… interesting. There is a hostess that will seat you at a table but then you have to go order at the bar which was a challenge trying to catch the one bartender’s attention when she seemed very busy and overworked. Most of the other staff seemed to be young high schoolers.

We may try and go back but I would probably just stick to getting a pizza and not one of their other items. Their drinks were good and seemed to be about averagely priced.

This review is for anyone visiting for thr first time. This place has a shtick / gimmick that they will not tell you about. You have to wander aimlessly while every employee rushes up to you to ask if you have a to-go order, then rushing away before you can tell them you want to order. So here’s what you need to know:

1. It may look like they have a million employees – and they do – but none of them are servers. They’ll seat you and walk away. We had to go up to the hosts that were standing by the door and ask how to get food, but this walk-through will help you avoid that step

2. They’ll tell you that you need to order at the bar. This is true, but what they won’t tell you is that you DO NOT get into the line that looks like people ordering at the bar. These are people ordering and picking up to-go orders. Many servers will come up to you and ask if you have an order to go, and when you tell them “no, I need to order food” they’ll rush away

3. You actually just walk to where the people are sitting at the bar and squeeze between them and place your order. At this point they’ll tell you 2 things:
– That they’ve been doing it this way for 25 years any they know it’s frustrating, but it’s how they do it
– They don’t have a drink menu. You actually have to leave the bar and walk to the back of the restaurant and look for a whiteboard with the drinks. Then you have to take a picture of it and send it to your wife who is sitting at the table

4. Okay, at this point you now know what you want to eat and drink, and where to order. Fight your way back to the bar and wave your arm until someone comes up to you. They’ll ask what table you’re at, so at this point leave the bar and look for a stand on your table with the table number on it. Again, THERE WILL BE NO INSTRUCTIONS OR CARDS OR GUIDES ANYWHERE TELLING YOU WHAT IT IS FOR. It’s an important part of the shtick that at NO POINT should you know what to do or how to get food. Part of the fun is unraveling the mystery, like an Italian escape room

5. Okay, now you have all the information. Work your way back to the bar and wait for everyone else who has come in over the last 30 minutes to finish giving their orders. Give them your order and they’ll bring it to you

Now, on to the food: By the time the food gets to you, you and your wife should be done fighting about who is overreacting and who is hungry. The wait is worth it, though, because the pizza is AMAZING. The mozarella sticks are okay, but the pizza is out of this world. Definitely worth what you have to go through to get it. Next time we’re in the area we’re going to eat there again, we’re just going to hire a local guide to help us navigate the hidden and secret ways of the restaurant

The Mequon pizza company has you walk up to the bar to order your food. Which is fine and the people behind the bar were excellent. Food was very good. I marked the atmosphere as a four because it was a little chilly in there.

Jalapeño poppers, Pizza and ranch are good. Alfredo was not great they overly oiled and the garlic bread was nasty. You have to order at the bar and if you want water refills ask at the bar. The entire time I was eating a kid was yelling and running around the restaurant and no one informed the parent to stop their child’s behavior.

Not an expansive menu, but everything is made very well and there is enough variety for everyone to find something, and pizza of course! The bar and attached dining room is a nice casual atmosphere for family time or a beer at the bar to watch a game. The pizza is great, and the deep dish is pretty darn good too. Great place to eat.

#1 thing you have to know before coming is you must ORDER at the BAR!

Once you understand that, understand this place is popular. Sometimes it gets crazy busy.

Bring patience and you’ll have OUTSTANDING DEEP DISH PIZZA. Seriously one of the best deep dish pizzas. So yummy Chicago worthy!
Grab a beverage, sit back and relax.

Mouth watering crispy, crunchy, cheesey pizza is the main attraction but they have an excellent tap beer and bourbon selection as well. Once your party arrives you will be seated and then you order food and drinks from the bar. The service was excellent and friendly. I thought the prices were very reasonable and I’m definitely already interested in heading back for a few of the beers I didn’t try this time around.

Outstanding Pizza; both thin crust and deep dish are memorable. Sausage is flavorful, sauce is excellent and plenty of cheese.

Driest pizza I have ever had. It’s like they forgot the sauce. Also questioning if there was cheese on it. Three total toppings on each piece. I picked up at the time they gave me and it was not even warm. Thirty dollars for some cold crust. I’ve eaten here for years. What happened?
