This was merely an average experience. The service tends to be indifferent, the food is average tasting, and the restaurant itself is not the cleanest place- the salt shakers and seasoning bottles on the tables were dirty, and the paper napkins in the holder on the tables looked as if they had been thumbed through several times.
Most menu items were not expensive.
We will not be returning here again though, as there are other options in town.

The pho soup is decent enough if you have the cravings. And the old lady serving you is awesome!

I like this small little restaurant. I’ve been coming for 2 years now. I’ve encountered the older woman many times. I like her. Her brisk demeanor doesn’t bother me. The Pho is good. I find that the menu doesn’t seem to be very consistent. Sometimes really good and sometimes OK. My fave is the beef vermicelli mild and the rare pho. The spring rolls fried in rice paper seemed handmade and was great but recently they changed it to the generic brown crunchy ones. Overall it’s OK. It remains my go to spot but would like to try Pho Boston. Seems popular amongst Asians.

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant around!! It is tiny but everything tastes great! I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and it is delicious!!!!! Prices are very very reasonable for West Hartford and food is way better than the famous Pho Boston. If you’re in the mood for Pho this is by far the best place in the Hartford area!!!!!!

Pho 206 it my favorite Pho restaurant in the Hartford area. The staff is friendly and prompt. Try the Hue’s spicy pho it’s one of my favorites, along with a fresh roll. Or maybe the seafood soup its also a winner. Come to Pho 206 to enjoy freshly made simple food. I highly recommend it!

7:30 pm on a Monday evening went in for Pho. Restaurant was clean, no customers. Had shrimp spring rolls that were made fresh and rare beef Pho. Soup was average, bean sprouts were wilted and the who thing was just…average. Service was poor even though we were the only two people there, it took 20 minutes for the spring rolls and then another 15 minutes after that for the soup. Had to go find the server to get our check and she was reluctant to give us to-go containers. With other choices in the area, probably won’t go back.

Used to be the go to place after work. Not anymore. I’m glad to see other people have experienced the same thing as me. I was beginning to think I did something to offend her but I guess the woman running this place is just sour and butter to everyone she meets. Pho isn’t even that great. Pho 99 and Pho Boston are WAY better and give you amazing customer service. If you want mediocre pho and to be yelled at go to 206. But I can imagine no wants that. I sure don’t . . .

I ordered the tofu rice rolls, pancake, and sauteed tofu and although they were cooked thoroughly there was hardly any seasoning and the food had a bland and slightly bad taste. On top of that, I found a long piece of hair in the food. I became disgusted and threw out the food later. Not eating here again.

Limited menu has provided great food at great prices for a long time now. Definite home style feel to the food and environment. The place could use a new coat of paint or some brightening up inside but I don’t come for the ambience. I keep this place in my regular rotation of places to eat.

I write this based on the food that was a take-out at 8:30pm (30min before closing) so take it with a grain of salt.
I really had a craving for pho, so at 8:00pm I decided to see what would be open. Pho 206 was near me and closing at 9pm (other Vietnamese restaurants were closing at 8pm). The yelp reviews where average while the google ones where pretty good.
Lets begin with the price. The price were not the best for how much food I got. I ordered 2 appetizers and a large Pho (the sizes on their website seem to be outdated) which end up costing 18 bucks. I wanted to get a smaller size for pho but they told me they only do large sizes for take out. The appetizers/pho I ordered where:
Vietnamese Fried Egg Rolls(# 2)
Vietnamese Shrimp Spring Rolls (#4)
Special Beef Noodel Soup (# 9)
The order was messed up and instead I received #3, #4 and #8. No biggie as long as it tastes good. The appetizers where pretty decent and as far as I could tell freshly made. But as I mentioned earlier kind of hoped they would be a little bit bigger for the price. The Pho was separated (I was asked and I said sure) and cold. The vegetation that I got was wilted and looked old. The noodles also tasted very old (Felt like they were pre-made in the morning and kept in water, some parts of it had hardened). There was barely any meat. The meat was pre cooked, very dry and looked old as well (it looked like it was on the counter for a while so the ends kind of hardened as the noodles). That kind of threw me off because I was waiting for #9 which contained Beef Briskets, Tendon & Meat Balls, not just cooked brisket. The very last and in my opinion the most important, the broth. Maybe because it was cold but the broth wasn’t very good. Didnt sit well in my stomach. In the end after finishing it, it felt like they ran out of the other stuff and gave me what was left but they should of told me about that.
I gave it one star because I got really disappointed by the pho
(broth, noodles, and meat). Would I go again? Probably not. But then again I ordered before closing so you might have a different experience.
