The Hawaiian mac, chicken teriyaki and kalua was great! The mango guava cheesecake is a must buy. Rich and creamy♡ And the flavors compliment each other really well. Bonus on the music

Very upset that I recommended this to my coworkers. I thought it would be better. The portions have gotten smaller got my plate and underneath the small portion of meat is a lot of cabbage a lot of cabbage! Needless to say coworkers very disappointed Don’t want to ever go back. Really sad because I really like this place better than Hawaiian Bros but if they’re going to skimp on the portions and start acting like Hawaiian Bros might as well go somewhere else or go to Hawaiian Bros. Sad we spent almost $60 and most of the food was cabbage with macaroni. I guess we’re going to have to find a new place.

I ordered through the drive-thru tonight and I wish I remembered the cashier’s name whom I spoke to, I think his name started with a D. The receipt just says cashier 3.
From the beginning he was very nice and polite with good energy. There was a bit of a misunderstanding on both my part and his, and he handled it so well. His explanation and generosity (which I didn’t expected at all) was so nice, but his politeness and attitude were what really stood out. Great experience overall

Huge shout out to Jake, Max, Deydey, Xander, & Tamen!! It’s refreshing to go to a restaurant where all the employees are upbeat & friendly. The dining room & kitchen area was extremely clean & organized. I always order the kalua pig with rice & veggies. Tonight the pork was extremely juicy….yummy! Keep up the great vibes & even better food, guys!

I tried twice in the last month and I give up. Never again. Last month I received an order from drive through where the boxes were just thrown in and a massive amount of fat leaked all over the inside of the bag, all over everything in it, and out onto my car seat. When I answered their survey someone did contact me and said he’d “make it right” when I sent pics of my gross bag. Never heard from him again which was somehow even worse because I understand the kids at the drive through now caring but management? Anyway, despite this I wanted to give it a shot with the new steamed veggies because I can’t eat rice or mac so I was hopeful I’d be able to get a combo here instead of just a side of chicken. Nope. Got there and was told they are all out of veggies, which I can’t tell before I go all the way there because the app doesn’t let you order veggies even though they’ve had them a couple weeks now. The guy did say I could substitute salad in place of rice and mac, which I wasn’t thrilled about because I made the mistake of getting the salad once but at that point I had no other option. Big mistake. For substituting both sides I only got one small half full container of the cheapest salad mix imaginable that is turning brown. So basically I paid the combo price for just meat. On top of all that I wasn’t offered or given any sauce so I literally got a container of dry meat and a packet of blue cheese dressing with no edible salad. Never again.

First time here. I wanted to order the Teri & Veggies. The item says TWO meets and said Teriyaki Chicken, Steamed Veggies, Rice and Macaroni salad. Fair enough. I asked what other meat was there. The server was an older woman. There was also a younger one. She said they sub the second meat for veggies? I said that isn’t the way the menu reads. She then said something else, and then asked the younger woman to step in and explain. Again, I said what was the second meat. She danced around the issue also. She said I could have Macaroni, veggies on the side? I asked, again, about the second meat. She said you get a double portion of Teriyaki chicken. I finally said just give me what was in the menu: Teriyaki chicken, steamed veggies, brown rice and macaroni salad. When I got home they forgot the veggies and had something like Cole Slaw next to the Macaroni salad. Very poor trying by the management. I did not see anyone who looked like a manager in there. I was disappointed.

Finally had the chance to experience Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food in Olathe, and I must say, it lived up to the hype! The staff welcomed me with genuine friendliness, and I loved the menu flexibility that lets you customize your plate with varying amounts of food and proteins. Opted for the Mini – 2 meat plate featuring teriyaki chicken and kalua pig, and it didn’t disappoint – served promptly and looking absolutely delicious, complete with a side of mouthwatering sauce.

The restaurant’s clever use of space and inviting décor caught my eye, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Bonus points for offering Coke Zero in their fountain – a rare find that definitely scored them some brownie points. I couldn’t resist ordering a spam musubi, and while tasty, it didn’t quite match the wow factor of some competitors.

The teriyaki chicken was the real star, bursting with flavor, while the kalua pig, though a tad on the bland side, offered a satisfying salty kick. Now, let’s talk about that macaroni salad – hands down better than any competitor’s version, and the rice was spot on.

Overall, Mo’ Bettahs is a standout in the casual Hawaiian dining scene. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return for more of their mouthwatering offerings.

It was nice to meet someone from the islands be the first to greet you. They knew their product and was hospitable. Nice location, love the decoration makes me feel like I’m home in Hawaii. Also the side really shows that the person knows the islands. Lastly their Spam Musubi is how it’s suppose to be made… could be bigger but still good.

Don’t think twice about it, just grab a plate here asap. This food is top tier. Their chicken is boneless, juicy, grill-seared chicken thighs (except the katsu, that would be sliced breaded chicken). The steak is sliced, grill-seared, and not too fatty by any means.

Highlights in a nutshell:
-Delicious protein options. Not too sweet, amazing sear. Love the pelahu chicken. It’s a peppery salty option. Just right.
-Mac tastes great, fresh, and somehow wholesome
-Rice is actually cooked properly and has great texture (unlike the mushy rice at Hawaiian Bros )
-THEY ARE NOT CHEAP WITH PORTIONS. I’ve always gotten generous portions at this location
-Friendly, helpful staff

They should change their name to Mo’ Best. Greatest Hawaiian food around by a long shot.

RIP Hawaiian Bros

This is my go to for lunch or dinner. I’ve completely stopped going to HB and the rubbery chicken has me wanting better taste and quality here at Mo’bettahs. I recommend Mo’Bettah’s over the competition… Hands down!
