We’ve tried this DQ twice in the last month- the first time to treat our kids- and both the playground and ice cream machines were out of order. Tonight, the card reader wasn’t working in the drive thru, so they told us we’d have to come inside. Both times, it was just a few teenage boys working- which isnt a problem in and of itself…but when the restaurant is never running smoothly… where are the managers/owner?

I’m really not the type of person who expects perfection, especially with fast food, but our experience at the Palmer Dairy Queen tonight was disappointing.

We ordered two meals and it took about 20 minutes to get our food. When it came out, one order of fries was missing and both burgers were cold. I went to the counter and the employee said he would remake them, which I appreciated. But after another 20 minutes, we still didn’t have our food and the person who said he was remaking them had disappeared.

I went back up again, and a different employee looked confused and a little annoyed. He did remake the burgers, but I watched him put the patties straight into the microwave. By the time everything was done, almost an hour had passed, the burgers were only lukewarm, and I still didn’t have the fries. At that point we just ate what we had and left.

I understand fast food can be tough and staffing can be short. I’ve been a general manager in fast food, so I’m definitely not judging the workers themselves. They weren’t rude — if anything, they looked like they had no guidance and no real leadership on duty. But for almost $40 for two meals, the quality wasn’t there.

I’m not upset about waiting a little — I know things happen — but cold, stale burgers and missing food isn’t acceptable. I left feeling frustrated and like I wasted money. I hope management can step up and support the staff better, because they clearly need direction.

Very expensive for small amount of ice cream, regular price 5.29 or 5.39 for this small amount of ice cream. This is their medium sundae, looks more like a small. I used my app and paid 2.99 plus tax 3.08. I would not pay full price for this carmel sundae. The girl was taking out trash when I got there and she just left this mess in the parking lot.

I don’t usually like to complain, but this was by far the worst fast-food experience I’ve had. When we arrived, we were the only customers in the restaurant, yet it still took about 30 minutes to receive our food.

Our order was incorrect, several items were missing, and the food we did receive was cold. On top of that, the trash bins were overflowing, and the restrooms appeared not to have been cleaned all day. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and well below what I would expect.

This was my first visit and things went almost like the previous posters experience from 6 days ago.

Employees weren’t rude but 28 minutes for a meal when I can watch the drive through line progress, I know the dine in isn’t a priority.

Food was cold and I had to ask for several things that hadn’t been included in my order.

I think with any amount of effort, this would be an awesome place to eat and let kids play but currently I wouldn’t even come back to use the bathroom. And that’s disappointing because there’s potential here.

I usually try to be very optimistic but this experience was one of the lowest food experiences I’ve personally experienced so far. And I’m happy to accommodate people having a bad day, broken equipment or a lunch rush. But this wasn’t it.

We purchased several Blizzards through the very busy Drive-thru and when we arrived home and started eating them we noticed the bottom half was all vanilla. I immediately called the store and told them what we had discovered. The manager said, oh… ok.” and hung up on me. I called back a few times and of course no one answered. I hope it was worth losing a regular customer over, Dairy Queen!

You could literally be the only customer in the entire restaurant and they will still take forever to make your order. It doesnt seem like a single person that works here actually cares about their job. Cleanliness of the restaurant is suffering. Do better.

Dairy Queen is almost always consistent with service and quality. However today we had a young lady who went the extra mile to save me money. I was very happy with her suggestions. My burger is great and my daughter loved her chicken, fries and Oreo shake.. love the half off happy hour…

If you’re looking for a snack or dessert then you need to visit Dairy Queen. I can’t think of a better place to get a shake with your favorite candy bar blended inside. This Dairy Queen has a drive-thru and play area for kids. Come have lunch and let the kiddos burn off that energy!

We placed a mobile order for 6 blizzards and were given a 13 minute wait time. We got there in 10 to pick up the paid for order and were told they had not received any mobile order by the manager. After trying to resolve the issue she found out the two boys working had processed the order. We were given 5 of the 6 very melted blizzards that had the consistency of melted milkshakes, no offer to remake them or make it right. I tried contacting the store this morning but they didn’t answer the phone. They did make one because they didn’t get all 6 the first time. As someone who works food service and has been an f&b manager for over 20 years the service and handling of the problem was awful and made worse as these were treats for a family birthday.
We won’t be getting anything from this DQ in the future and will not recommend them to anyone we know.
