Opa Taverna in West Chester is a great Greek hangout spot for good drinks and flavorful food. The cocktail selection is solid — the “Kolasi” (tequila with jalapeño and lime) was a standout. The chicken souvlaki, gyro, and lamb chops were all well-seasoned and delicious. The only downside is the small indoor space, which can get a bit noisy, so outdoor seating is a better option if the weather allows. Overall, a great place for a casual evening out.

I had such a great experience at Opa Taverna! From the moment we walked in, the host kindly greeted us and thoughtfully guided us over to the takeout section. They were so welcoming and made everything feel easy and organized. Then over at takeout I did have to wait a few minutes for my order but the girls were very kind and attentive to my order. Overall great experience.

First time here after walking or driving by hundreds of times over the years. So glad we gave it a try as both meals were delightful and not too expensive considering how great the food was. Both the Greek salad with chicken and chicken souvlaki were fresh, flavorful, and filling. Everything was wonderful, including the pita, slaw, and fries. Service was good and my only gripe is that the noise level is a bit too much inside, but we’ll be back again for sure.

We had a very delicious vegan meal here! After talking with our server, we were able to order the lemon potatoes, roasted veggies, hummus, zucchini chips, fries, beet salad, and the roasted veggie Gyro. Everything was incredibly tasty! The whole experience was very nice, as the atmosphere and staff are also great. While there are no specific vegan listings, we ate a ton and enjoyed it all!

Everything was healthy, flavorful and top notch.
Inside, the decor is comfortable and elegant- they even have an outside seating area for nice days. Worth a try.

Avgolemono just fantastic, so flavorful yet delicate and not overwhelmed with lemon.
Short rib with orzo is one of the tastiest dishes I’ve had in a long time (I eat out ALOT)

I have only ever gotten take out here. The gyros have always been consistent and affordable but it does look like the portions have been reduced in exchange for not raising the prices as much.
I don’t blame them but I wish they would offer more exciting things on the takeout menu to give me more reasons to go.
