Everything about this place was amazing, too include the building sign with the surge protector exposed to the weather . The soup was honestly the best ive had in years. The prime rib and street tacos hit every spot. 10 stars by far a great date night with the wife.

From the get go service was slightly slow, but that is totally understandable in today’s world. The servers were all very friendly and were always smiling.
We ordered lunch, and got the pub eggs as an appetizer. We were not disappointed by the flavor they delivered!! Everyone was pleased with their meals, and the portions are pretty large!
Definitely a place to stop in and eat if you’re hungry and looking to fill up!

Expected much more based on the reviews online. Had the NY strip steak, it was probably the worst steak I’ve ever had. It was gray and mushy and not even a half an inch thick. It was supposed to be 8 oz but it was 5-6 oz at best. The mashed potatoes were thin and watery and the seasoned vegetables were way over salted. I was very disappointed. Would not recommend this place. The server was pleasant.

We started on a ‘Slice of America’ pie tour and Palisades was our first stop. It didn’t disappoint, got we split a delicious BLT, homemade potato chips and a pumpkin pecan cobbler. Not exactly pie but it counts. The BLT had plenty of bacon and the bread was perfectly toasted with an awesome crunch. The potato chips were by far the highlight of our visit. Fried to perfection with just right amount of seasoning (not just salt).

Let me start out by saying The waitresses and staff were wonderful. The issue we had was that the owner was completely wasted. Mind you that this was around 1100-1200 in the morning. Drinking from your own bar is not a good business model.

In Colorado for a few days, we’re near Gunnison and decided to find a place to have a good meal. I had the Ribeye, it was pretty dang good. It was a bit over cooked but full of flavor. The mixed vegetables were good, and the baked potato was fantastic. The kids had chicken fried chicken and a sirloin and they both said it was good.

Nice place to sit down and have a meal, pretty atmosphere they have a dining section or you can sit by the bar. The waitress was friendly but didn’t know to much about happy hour…she said it’s beer and wine….so we ordered a draft beer and then another and it was still 11 dollars….that’s not much of a happy hour. The food was good, didn’t have to wait too long til the appetizer or food was served. The straws for the drinks were awful…like drinking from a toilet paper roll…didn’t like that part lol The taco salad was good but the whole bottom was practically a whole head of lettuce…I was ok with it but if you don’t want a whole head don’t order the taco salad. The price was 55 bucks for 2 people thats including an appetizer 2 entrees and drinks. Other then that it was a nice, cozy place to eat. We would eat here again if in town.

Just left Palisades and it’s usually one of my favorite places to eat, but tonight was different. Our waitress was more concerned with making out with her boyfriend and the bartender was all over his girlfriend. The staff was more concerned with talking about college parties and hanging out than they were about the customers! I was 2 beers sit for 15 minutes while the waitress wasn’t doing anything. One gentleman waiter was working extremely hard to get tasks completed. The food was great, but I was very disappointed with the staff! You really shouldn’t be making out with your significant other when working!
