I love the cute wallpaper! I had the fried chicken, waffle fries, Mac n cheese and a double salad. Hubby ordered the same but with mixed greens and side of liver and onions. The chicken was cooked perfectly! The Mac n cheese was cheesy just the way I like it. And their croutons for the salad are homemade and are amazing! It’s not pricey either! So if you want a nice, quiet meal and good conversation, this is the place to go. I had no room for dessert but the cake and pies in the refrigerated glass case at the register sure looked good! Big menu, lots of items and some good specials every day (they run out of some items on special, so if it’s something you want, order it early). I have been twice, both times were pretty good. The potato skins are phenomenal and huge, basically a meal in itself. I saw someone order them and assumed they placed two orders, boy was I wrong, I was so full after eating half of them and still had a dinner coming.

Staff is great, food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is cozy.
For breakfast I love their omelets. Be sure to try their biscuits — and order a side of gravy. It’s scratch made (not from a can) and it’s some of the best biscuits and gravy you’ll get!

Might just be the best BBQ wings that I have had. The wings are huge. Lots of BBQ sauce. The meat was very tender. They are lightly breaded like country fried chicken, not heavy like a hooters wing. The BBQ sauce pairs so well with the breading.

This is a place to drive to for an excellent value meal. Go once and you’ll return. Try the sizzler! Very large steak comes out on sizzling platter. Choice of salad, potato and ur bread. Open face roast beef also great. Don’t think I’ve had bad meal there. Daily specials too!
Ohhhhh …the desserts handmade and made the old fashion way! Piled high meringue on lemon, chocolate pies – take piece home with me every time. Well worth the drive. Inside country feeling…was at one time a feed mill.
