I am updating my review based on the prompt and courteous response from management. They really know how to treat customers!! Love that!! This place has great food and drinks (full bar) and the most amazing brisket around. Get it any way your palate prefers, lean, fatty, or mixed. Everything my husband and I have ever tried has been super delicious. It is one of our favorite go-to places for date nights. We will be back, again and again.

We had a great experience here. I was skeptical being a vegetarian going into a brisket place, but there were lots of options for me. I settled on a mac and cheese sandwich. It was good but could have used a little more flavor. Hubby loved his brisket sandwich. The peanut butter brownie was to die for. Our server was fast, nice and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

Food was delicious. Great atmosphere. Stopped here on my birthday in January as I felt spontaneous and wanted to try a local place we’d not yet visited. I had the smoked chicken and my husband had the brisket. Great taste, well seasoned, right amount of smoke ring, although I found the potatoes a little dry. Server gave good menu recommendations. Food came out fast. Our young server was slow, not very attentive, & needs retraining; otherwise I’d give this 5 stars. We’ll be back, but will avoid that server.

I got the brisket nachos (gluten free with no substitutions!) and they were absolutely delicious. So. So. Yummy.
My (not GF) husband got the brisket sandwich with a side of Mac & cheese and declared both to be exceptional. Our margarita was tasty and the happy hour pricing was a bonus!
Our server Letitia was so friendly and cheerful, she gave helpful suggestions and was attentive without being overbearing.
Definitely recommend!

Excellent food, decor, ambiance! Order your brisket lean or fatty, dip in the sweet and almost creamy BBQ sauce. Cheese grits were baked and the waffle-style jalapeno cornbread was a neat idea. Mixed greens salad also good. Nice looking well stocked bar with local drafts, and the entire place was clean and neat. Wish this place was closer to home!

The service was excellent! LaDonna was very friendly and professional! I ordered the 3 meats meal which included brisket , burnt ends & smoked sausage. My sides were macaroni and cheese, brussel spouts & waffle cornbread. I also had bread pudding with French vanilla ice cream. I will most definitely go back!

Restaurant was very slow, but service was still lacking. Waiter barely came around, I had to get up and find another waiter to get something my child needed to eat. We got water with our meal but it tasted like tap water no type of filtration, so we got sweet tea. The tea was really good but the waiter never came once and offered refills. My wife got the sandwich, she thought it was good but not great. Barbecue nachos is what I wanted so I got the brisket chili nachos. It was disappointing, tasted like your average chili cheese nacho, brisket seemed to be part of the chili but wasn’t tasted at all. Seemed weird that I couldn’t get a straight brisket barbecue nacho without it being chili based. Overall it’s decent food but definitely leaves more to be desired. Hope this feedback helps.

Probably the worst food I’ve ordered in Memphis and nearby areas. Passed this place a few times and said “oh this place looks fancy, I’ve got to try this”. Dismayingly I placed a pickup order. The Brisket or so called Brisket nachos tasted like blue corn nachos with cheap can chili with 4-5 oinky Brisket fat in it. Absolutely horrible and certainly not worth more than $5!!! The brussel sprouts were wayyyy too tart and bitter with no taste. The chicken salad sandwich was tasteless. Kroger has better chicken salad than this.
Summary….I could have picked up grocery store items that taste better than this. Obviously the cooks are culinary drop outs or online culinary failure. I’m in awe that this place has any good reviews and the bad reviews I certainly understand. Definitely my worst dining experience in the area.
FYI…the mini container of supposed Brisket (aka chili with fat parts) I came separate of the nachos but I did not get a photo of it
