Plenty of parking. Order at the counter and also catch of the day choices. We selected fresh cod fish-and-chips with substitution of onion rings. Fish was delicious and so were the onion rings. I felt that the tartar sauce was too sweet. Restrooms available. Soft serve desserts available. Prices are reasonable for quality on the Cape.

Me: lobster chowder, and mango habanero 1/2 chicken (spicy!) with corn cob, homemade potato salad, coleslaw. Him: fried scallops with fries. Loved ours. Mussels provencale also very good (although they lost our order the first time and had to return).
Update: black raspberry and coffee soft serve twist. Closed Wednesdays.

The Cape experience isn’t complete without PJs. I always get the fried seafood platter. Fair warning tho, it is not for the faint of heart. This usually comes with cod, calamari, shrimps and other delights. Expect to spend Cape Cod prices

We stopped at PJ’s for dinner one evening during our vacation in late June. They have a large menu selection with an equally large variety. Something for just about everyone. They were moderately busy when we arrived around 6 PM. The girl at the counter who took our orders was friendly, very engaging, and a real delight. With so many things on the menu, it was a little challenging trying to make a choice, but the girl told us there was no rush and to take our time. We finally settled on a lobster roll plate and 4 pieces of fried chicken. The dining room had an ample number of tables and we had no problem finding an empty one. Our meals were served up roughly 20 minutes later. The lobster roll plate ($32) was average size and very tasty. My 4-pc fried chicken meal was served very hot. It was crispy, juicy, and delicious. At $13, it was something of a bargain on their menu and provided a fairly generous portion of food for the price. The total bill for our two meals with beverages was a bit over $50 plus tax, with the lobster roll plate being the majority of that. Prices for many of the menu items looked to be fairly reasonable, while some other prices looked to be higher than expected. A number of items were simply marked “Market Price”. Both meals were very good, the counter service was great, and the wait time for our food was about average. The number of parking spaces looked to be more than adequate, but it can get a little congested. Based on this visit, I’d recommend PJ’s. Enjoy, and thanks for reading!

Hands down PJ’s family restaurant has the best fried scallops on the planet. The rest of the menu (with a couple exceptions) is delicious and has a great variety for folks who aren’t just interested in fried seafood. This is a counter service restaurant so atmosphere is not a top priority but it is clean and comfortable enough for what it is. Unfortunately PJ’S is following suit with all of the other restaurants in the area who have inflated their prices dramatically (like double) since COVID and it is not the good value it once was. I’ve gone twice this year so far and 10 scallops and a salad was $50, the (10) scallop plate which comes with yucky food service frozen french fries and 2 tablespoons of utterly forgettable cole slaw is $36. Its disappointing PJ’s has always been a tried and true favorite… Considering the stripped down experience it does not warrant prices which exceed full service high end restaurants.

Excellent cold lobster meat with mayo on a butter grilled bun. The Jumbo lobster roll is fantastic and I am sure one of the most delicious lobster rolls you can find in New England. There may be a better lobster roll but it may not be worth the effort to find one much better

We love PJs and stop here every time we visit PTown. The fishwich was excellent, and the fried whole belly clams are our go to. I tried the vanilla soft serve for the first time on this trip, and it was phenomenal. It was the best soft serve I’ve ever had. I don’t know how they get it so creamy! Love this place – can’t wait to come back next year!

Excellent food at a casual counter service spot. Take out or eat inside (but no ac on warm day we stopped in). I gambled on tuna sashimi at a fried food joint…wow! Huge serving and delicious. Scallop roll also excellent. Stellar reviews line the walls and I would agree!

Quick service. Great food but Clam Chowder a little runny. The Shrimp & Scallop Kabob is a must try as well as the Thai Red Curry Salmon.

Always a stop for us in Wellfleet. An ultimate Clam Shack. The fried shell fish are perfection. Cole slaw too. Five stars, both thumbs up!
