The restaurant is fantastic, authentic Italian. My friend and I mistakenly tried to enter from the back parking lot and we were greeted warmly, led through the kitchen, and upstairs to the dining room. The feel of the place is cozy and family friendly. The food is reasonably priced, with a solid variety of favorites, and delicious. The arcade it’s in is directly across from Logan County Courthouse.

Delicious food and amazing, knowledgeable wait staff. I had tortellini, a side of meatballs and a side of garlic bread for less than $25. Very large portions, Itook half of my dinner home! It’s tucked back off the square and is BYOB. They also share the patio with Spirited Republic.

We actually sat at Spirited Republic where Guzzardo’s has servers come over. We had a large party and pulled tables together. Servers did a great job of handing a big group.
This was our second time there. First time I got the Italian Sausage and Peppers and it was really good. This time they were out so I was forced to try something else. I heard their pizza was good, so I got the meathead pizza with thin crust. So happy I did. It was an almost religious experience. Every bite was heaven. The crust was amazing and every bite had a smoky richness to it. The sauce wasn’t overly sweet and created a great balance with the rest of the ingredients.
So, go to Guzzardo’s, even if you’re not technically IN Guzzardo’s, and get the pizza. Will definitely be going back.

If a pizza were ever worth 10 stars this is it! Best pizza I’ve had, maybe ever! I can’t believe how amazing just a simple sausage pepperoni pizza can taste like pure hevan in my face. We’ll be making the drive from bloomington quite often and you will be seeing us for dine in next! Can’t wait!!!!

Very Disappointing! I have been taking my wife to Guzzardo’s for the last 9 years, always came here for the prime rib, lobster tail and the salad bar, and the amazing service. Service is still amazing to this day although I’m very very disappointed in the food quality. We spent $110 for prime rib and two lobster tails prime rib had little to no flavor and the lobster tails were fishy and slimy. For the amount of money it costs I’m very disappointed and because of this we will not be back. The people at guzzardos are amazing and service is top notch the owner even took money off our check. So unfortunate!

Very cozy second floor Italian themed restaurant overlooking a peaceful alley. Ordered the pizza on original crust. Very good. Has a distinct flavor that I haven’t had anywhere else. The cheese is real and amazing, the crust is crispy and buttery. Service was good as well.

By far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The food tasted fresh and homemade as if we got invited to Sunday dinner at Grandma’s house! The spaghetti was amazingly delicious! I got the villa and it was great and our son got a pizza which was just as good. The fried ravioli with marinara oh my goodness! Our waitress was amazing! Everything about this place was wonderful. I travel for work and so far the best place I have tried in Illinois even better than the famous Italian place we went to in Chicago. Definitely a diamond in the rough.

While traveling Route 66, this location was referred to us at one of the visitor centers. It is kinda tucked away in a unusual space behind a arcade. We were first seated outside, but quickly chose to go inside due to a couple of loud and obnoxious young men with some very foul language! We chose the outside because the dining area is upstairs and my wife doesn’t do well with stairs. Seeing that it was a nice evening, we would have much more preferred the outside dining… When we mentioned it to the server, she just commented “Yea, they have been here for a while”.
We ordered a triple appetizer, thinking it would be 3 small portions… it was NOT! It was 3 huge appetizers!! They were all delicious!! Fried Ravioli, Fried Mushrooms and Mega cheesy fries (I forget the actual name).
We chose pizza for our meal, since we like to try pizza from different areas when traveling. Once again, we over ordered… The large was not just large, but HUGE! It was hot and very good!! No way we could eat it all.
We were there near closing time, but never felt rushed in any way. Our server, and the servers around us, were all very friendly and helpful.
Our only complaint was having to climb the stairs.
