Lovely meal here last night. Quick attentive service and really good food. Calamari was lightly battered and just right. I had the special of cod loin with a pea purée – perfectly cooked fish and lovely accompaniment, also served with fresh vegetables.

My husband and I went to this amazing Italian before an evening out at the theatre. This was our first visit (we live in Hove) but we left feeling that it was the best meal we’d had out, in months (maybe longer). We both had a pasta dish. The ingredients were fresh and authentic, portion size was generous and value for money was excellent. So happy to have discovered this place, we will be back!

Lovely little place, feels like at home! Food was lovely and staff were very attentive and friendly. Price was very reasonable even with dessert and starters. Will definitely be coming back

We have visited Giuseppe’s many times before and have always had lovely meals, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
We had a table booked for 6pm this evening but unfortunately I needed to cancel after spending six hours in A&E with my dad. I cancelled the booking this morning using the cancellation link provided in the confirmation email.
Despite this, I later received a phone call from a member of staff who was extremely rude and would not allow me to explain. I was repeatedly interrupted and told “you had a table booked for 6pm, we’re fully booked, are you coming or not?” When I tried to explain that I had already cancelled via the email due to being in hospital, I was told this was “impossible” and then the call was abruptly ended by the staff member hanging up on me.
I fully appreciate restaurants rely on bookings, but the complete lack of understanding, professionalism and basic courtesy shown — especially given the circumstances — was genuinely shocking.
Very disappointing treatment from a restaurant we have previously enjoyed visiting.

Lovely Italian for a after work meeting and meal. Tasty freshly cooked food, pizza was excellent as was the calamari starter.

The pizzas and dishes are very good, but nothing justifies a 45-minute wait for three pizzas and a risotto. I have been to many restaurants across Europe, particularly in Italy, and I can tell you that I have never seen anything like it. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, so the chef certainly wasn’t overwhelmed. Given the lack of waiters, perhaps he was alone in the kitchen. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who was exasperated, as the table next to us was about to leave without waiting for their food. It’s a shame because the concept of a slightly upmarket Italian restaurant would be perfect for Worthing… but for the business to work, they need to serve more plates.

Best steak in Worthing, hands down! The Chateaubriand was absolutely incredible — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavour. A must-try for any steak lover! And the sauces – mamamia! Stunning

Superb home made Italian food as it should be.
Best pizza ever!!
Very welcoming and pleasant staff.
Excellent wine, we had two bottles and beer.
I’m staying in Worthing for another night and I’m going back for dinner again.
I had Salmon and Artichokes for starters and it was a good sized portion and delicious.
Pizza Etna I highly recommend.
