Absolutely delicious food and the staff was amazing. Showed up a little early and sat at the bar before my group arrived and also had a cup of the daily soup (Italian), and it was amazing. The cup is a great size as a “app” as well, I could only imagine the portions of the bowl being enough for a dinner in and of itself. Its also close to the metro, so as someone who took a train to the location- very convenient and easy to find.

We came here for dinner and had such a nice experience. We loved that the food was fresh and made to order and that you can actually tell your dinner is being made from scratch. The atmosphere is nice for conversations and the service was great. The mignon was delicious . Cannot wait to come back !

This was one of the best meals my wife and I have had in years. Bob’s service was really special as well. He made our night one to remember.
To start with, the bread was out-of-this-world. It was piping hot, and really airy. They use very fruity, fresh olive oil that complements the bread really nicely.
We started with the fonduta, which was phenomenal. They cheese they use is super unique and was well-made/flavored. We were also impressed with our mains, Pasta Alla Norma and a chicken dish that I forgot the name of. Both were cooked beautifully, and spiced very well too. The pear/balsamic sauce balanced the chicken dish very well, and the pasta was fresh and well-cooked.

After my inauguration, my family and I dined at Joseph’s Trattoria, and it truly is a gem.
The food was outstanding authentic, savory Italian cuisine made with care and depth of flavor. The mocktails were excellent, thoughtfully crafted, and a great option for the whole family. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance.
As a family of six, seating and noise level matter to us, and this restaurant delivered on both. There was ample, comfortable seating, and the noise level was just right not too quiet, not too loud making it enjoyable for everyone, including a family member who is sensitive to excess noise.
I only wish my own city had an authentic Italian spot like this. Highly recommend for families, celebrations, or anyone looking for quality Italian food in a welcoming setting.

I believe 5 stars are reserved for the best meals of your life. But if I could give 4.5 I would. This is such a hidden local gem. Great service and delicious food. The fonduta cheese appetizer is indulgent in all the best ways. Definitely make a reservation because it can be quite busy on the weekends. Great place for a special meal.

We went during dinner time on a Sunday and they were very busy. They were able to see this at a high top table as they had two large parties in there. Our server Joe was quick with the water and taking our drink orders. Joe also brought us some bread and poured some olive oil on some seasoning on a plate. The bread was perfectly cooked, nice and crusty on the outside soft in the inside. Our food orders came out fairly quickly considering how busy they were. Everything was prepared well and presented nicely. My Caesar salad add white anchovies on it which were perfectly seasoned. They make their own dressing and it was delicious. We also had the ravioli which was the delicious. My wife ordered the pizza with salad. She loved it. It’s a little loud any inside but that’s to be expected when are that busy. All in all I great experience.

Joseph’s is a must if you are in Haverhill, it tucked in a little corner in downtown with plenty of parking. You must try the calamari and the mussels. The staff was super friendly and great at doing it right. They also have an excellent selection of dessert’s. They serve fresh house baked bread.

The restaurant atmosphere is amazing. Nice, cozy, and vibrant.
The food is good. The fettuccine and panceta was a little heavy and neutral in flavors. The brick pizza was good, rich of flavors.
In general, good portions.
I will definitely come back but will split any order.

Very accommodating… it was very busy but the staff really hustled. Family friendly atmosphere and great music on the bar side. Food was delicious and the sauce was fantastic! Fair pricing. Highly recommend. Never been disappointed. Love it. Parking difficult but if your willing to walk a little it is ok.

Im a solo eater so I do takeout often same dish always and it’s consistently hot and cooked perfect! One time they forgot the chicken Pomo with my ravioli which was main reason for order they quickly resolved by offering to add it if I still wanted, I did, and refund my whole order which was very respectable! It’s very quaint and proper in new spot and would be a great quiet date night for a couple!
