The wine club and tastings are great values for the variety and quality of wine that this small shop is able to provide! Friendly service from the proprietors and wine merchant representatives tops off the experience. Oh, and if you don’t feel like a full pour of wine they will happily do a half glass of their wines by-the-glass! That’s hard to find around here!

Delightful place! Their wine knowledge is awesome! The wine club is only $30 a month for two wines. Co sidering that most wines at the grocery cost about the same it’s a great value. Also the food is wonderful! The charcuterie board is great!

Tastings is a beautiful locally owned wine bar. Their food is great also, and I love the nights that they have live music. It really is a hidden gem and I will keep coming back for the beautiful, intimate atmosphere and great wine selection. I do wish that the two ladies that work there, one of whom is the owner, were more friendly. That is the only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars, and I think more people would visit the shop if they were warmer.

My wife and I have never done a wine tasting before so decided to try it out. These folks were very informative and happy to help. It was very busy the night that we went in, but the service did not seem to suffer as a result. We will definitely be coming back here!

Tastings is an awesome little wine shop! The store isn’t massive but the bottle selection is always stellar. Their wine club is worth the cost too – $25/month for two great wine bottles. Nice place to drink wine in SE Boise.

Fun little wine shop and market. Good food. Dog friendly patio. Decent selection of wine and knowledgeable staff. Wine tasting nights on Wednesday and Friday are reasonably priced and a good way to try out different wineries.

I’ve been to Tastings about 10 times in the last few years and I’ve been hoping the service would improve . Great wine & selection but the owner is very rude, not accommodating and Feels like she just seems inconvenienced. I will never go there again after today – even though there is not another wine bar in that area, I would prefer to buy a bottle at Albertsons for 30% less and take somewhere else. I really tired to support this local business but not acceptable and very impersonal.

Tastings is a great local Wine Bar. It was originally owned by a guy named Jerry beard, and is now owned by a woman named Sarah. After beard sold it to her. They’ve got a vast array of wines for purchase by the bottle, and then they have about six to eight purchase by the glass of both white and red wine that you can get at the counter. They have multiple snack items, for lack of a better term that include cheese plates and mini pizzas / flatbreads. They also have bottles of beer. more on the fancier bottles than your bud light Coors Light options. They have a wine club that after-tax is approximately $30 a month. And it gets you two bottles of wine every month. You can get to Red’s to whites or mix and match. And my favorite part about the whole place is the $99 wall. They probably have 20 plus bottle options that you can make into a case for $99. One of the best deals out there.
