Things to know:
First, the card and bucket system is something you need to know before going; If you need waitstaff, just put the card in the bucket.
While, wait staff at all restaurants should be trained to know that it is bad manners to interrupt conversations and ask questions to someone with a mouthful of food, we all know it happens, despite any training or lack thereof. So, I think this system was a great idea to avoid those unwanted interuptions.
Another thing to know is that the acoustics in this place are terrible and sound echoes throughout the establishment. Luckily it wasn’t very busy when we went, but I couldn’t imagine trying to even hear yourself think if it’s busy. Some people like that kind of atmosphere and others don’t. Just be aware of what it is.
Our experience:
Overall, the food was good and so was the service, although neither were excellent. Waitstaff was quick to respond when we put the card in the bucket. However, there was less than a dozen patrons in the establishment when we went at lunch time, so anything other than a quick response would have been bad.
The fried cheese curds were excellent while hot. But like most fried foods, the appeal diminished as they cooled down.
The main reason I deducted 2 stars was for the perceived value and the sub-par brewing.
I ordered the Longmonster Burger (a $23 burger with 4 patties), thinking that it would be big enough to save half for later. It wasn’t. The beef patties were disappointingly thin (very similar to a Freddy’s burger), and while a large burger, it’s not a monster in any sense unless you have a child’s appetite.
The ‘regular’ sized burgers (around $18) had 2 of the thin patties. My wife enjoyed the Bugolgi Burger. But the name is deceptive marketing. There was no bugolgi in it at all. They should just call it a kimchi burger, since it was just a burger with kimchi.
Again the food and service were both good. However, there was nothing that made it excellent or worth the pricing. To top it, the real disappointment was the extremely bitter Burlington Stout ($7.50 for 16oz) that was falsely advertised as “…well-balanced and smooth”.
Final thoughts:
The food and service were good. However, if you’re going to a brewery, they should at least have decent brews and the overall value fell too far below the prices to receive any rating above average.

Great new place with scratch kitchen and good beer. I’m not even a beer guy, but the stout is pretty great. Fried green beans amazing. The burgers are greatness. Good selection, good service

We went here after a hike and were really impressed. The portions were great by comparison to other places. I got a chicken sandwich and the cheese curds for my side, I’ll say they did not skimp on the cheese curds and hooked me up with a hefty side of them. The drink options were vast and I’d need to go back to try more. Also the atmosphere was appealing with plenty of out door seating. To top it off the service was very efficient with the system they have at each table and our needs as a customer were satisfied quickly. I’d go back again and again. My 300 Suns Brewing experience is in line with many of the reviews on here. They have a 4.7 for good reason. First glance at the menu and it’s clear it’s not going to be an easy decision. Lots of beer, and other yummy adult options to choose from. Their food options are also abundant, I found myself already thinking of what I wanted to try next. I had the tacos, I enjoyed them, but they were a bit too greasy for me. I am picky about this, so I don’t knock them, it just wasn’t my “flavor” of tacos. The Colorado pu tang was delicious, and my friend’s fried Nashville chicken sandwich look perfect. My friend agreed, and we both loved the cheese curds. Both sampled a few beer options and I don’t have a single thing to say that is not positive. Crew was welcoming, I love the practice of telling your servers you’re ready by placing the little sign in the bucket. Will definitely be stopping here again.

I highly recommend stopping in here. With a great outdoor patio and big indoor seating + bar, this place offers great food accompanied by good beer. Having three Sours on the menu, lagers, ipas, hard kambucha, their’s something for everyone. Same with gluten-free and vegetarian menu options. They have one of the best fried chicken sandwhiches out there. Big piece of chicken, perfect crispyness, and different spice levels. I had to get two! They warned me about getting their 2nd hottest the Poultrygeist, and I was able to finnish it no problem. It’ll be spicy if you don’t like spice, but it’s a perfect balance if you are a spice lover because I didn’t think it was hot at all. I also got the regular Nashville hot, which is not hot at all compared to how they rate it. Dogs are also welcomed on the patio!

This place went above and beyond my expectations, which is rare. The family wanted cheeseburgers for dinner and we hadn’t had an especially great one since our favorite burger truck closed up shop. We checked around for reviews and menus, and all agreed to try 300 Suns for the first time. We went on a Friday night around 6:00 and it was busy, but they had some seating right away and we got sat outside. They have shade set up which was perfect. We ordered cheddar bacon burgers and my only complaint about it was that it was too big for me to finish it. The cheddar was sharp, bacon cooked perfectly and fresh garden lettuce and toppings. Bun was perfect – it was perfectly executed. I got a side salad that was simple but really well done and they make their dressing in house. We ordered the 50/50 poutine which – if you’re into poutine was pretty great. Fries were crispy and plenty of cheese curds and gravy. A little more toppings than I prefer (so much cheese!) but my husband liked it as is. My daughter got the kids burger and cheese curds and it was as plentiful and delicious as everything else. They have a diverse and great drink list – brew their root beer in house, and the service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Green chili and French fries were both delicious. The French fries were crisp with just enough salt. My husband had the grilled cheese and enjoyed it too.
The imperial IPA had a touch of bitterness too it, very tasty. The dark lager was refreshing after a hike.
Great service and the wind was blocked on the patio so we just got to enjoy the sunshine. Great Longmont Spot!

Service was great, ordered the Longmoster burger with bacon and a egg and it was perfectly cooked and one of the best burgers I’ve had. Messy but good, the Yt cheddar bacon burger was great. Definitely a must

We stopped in for lunch on a wet, snowy day. There were quite a few folks, individuals at the bar and families and couples at tables. We were seated quickly.
The way the service worked was awesome. There is a card you put up, otherwise they let us sit and converse.
The food came out fresh and hot. The cheese curds were amazing! We miss being closer.
Definitely recommend!
