Arrived late into the historic center of St. Augustine and just needed a quick bite close to our hotel before bed, This casual (maybe a little divey?) deli fit the bill. Got a simple tuna on toasted white bread with lettuce and pickles and husband got the toasted Reuben on rye. Both were surprisingly fresh and good. The man who took our order at the counter was friendly and brought our order packed and ready to go quickly.

A must go to for cheesesteaks if you are in saint augustine. The food comes made to order with warm soft bread. There is also a draft and canned beer option. The food is reasonably priced. Waited about 10 to 15 minutes for the order, the food ia brought to your table.

Italian Sub was awesome. Cheesesteak had a great taste just a little too salty however. Bread was good. Jalapeño Poppers were good and Fried Mushrooms with the horseradish sauce were good as well. Nice atmosphere kinda away from the hustle and bustle.

Food was hot & delicious. Waffle fries were crispy & good. I’m not normally a fan of cheese whiz but it good on the fries. I subbed the cheese whiz on my Cheese Steak for American. If you want mayo, ask for it. Overall good. The place was clean & napkins are on the wall. If you don’t mind the sound of the video game machines, this place was great.

South-A-Philly is such a cool spot right on the bayfront in downtown St. Augustine. The cheesesteaks are legit — fresh rolls, juicy steak, and tons of flavor. The place has that laid-back Philly feel with pinball machines, sports decor, and friendly service. You can even catch a beautiful view of the bay while you eat. Definitely worth a stop if you’re craving a real Philly cheesesteak!

Popped over for the weekend check into the hotel late we saw this place was open late for food drove over and they’re Philly cheese steak was the bomb I’m definitely would come back and on top of it they got a great selection of pinball machines here they have a primus pinball machine they only made a hundred of them it was off the chain definitely would recommend this place to come in to if you ever in downtown St Augustine

Worst personal reception. Arrived a little before 9:00 om on Sunday night. Bearded young man took our order and told I we had 90 seconds to eat and drink 2 beers. Asked for ketchup and he said we had 60 seconds to leave or he was calling police. Worst service ever. 0 Stars!

I never leave a bad review because I don’t want to hurt someone’s business, however you have no business calling what we got a cheesesteak. It was made with ground beef, absolutely horrible! I’d eaten here a few years ago and it was great but not anymore!
