On January 17, 2026, I called in for a pick order. I ordered a Denver Skillet with pancakes. When I first called I asked for scrambled eggs and then called back for over easy. They made accommodations for me with no problem. I love this place. Me and my husband usually go here for breakfast. On this day when I arrived they were busy didn’t expect anything less. When I got home it was piece of hair in my scrambled eggs. I was so disappointed and as a pregnant woman that turned my appetite. It wasn’t a long piece but maybe a beard or eye lash. I had to pull it out because it was cooked within my eggs. Lucky I did have the over medium eggs that they made additionally but the scrambled eggs were the eggs that was on my skillet so I was completely turned off.

Today I ordered what I always get which was the house skillet. My son ordered a BLT CLUB and my husband ordered a cheeseburger. The food went up $2.00 per meal option. My son wanted avocado added to his sandwich and I was charged $4.00 extra! It was 3 of us and I was charged a 20% gratuity. My bill was $74.00. This was HIGHWAY ROBBERY! I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK and I was a loyal customer for years! The food was good but NOT THAT GOOD!!! The atmosphere was like your typical diner. CUSTOMER BEWARE.

**Terrible Experience at Bialy’s Café – Disrespectful to Seniors**
I recently had one of the worst dining experiences of my life at Bialy’s Café on 95th and California. After the incident, I looked up reviews and found that many others have had similar issues. It’s clear this restaurant has a troubling pattern of unprofessional behavior and mistreatment of customers.
I brought my elderly mother there after a doctor’s appointment. As a senior myself, I was shocked by how we were treated. When I went to pay, I noticed I’d been charged for lemon slices in my water—something most restaurants offer for free. I politely suggested they notify customers of the charge. The waitress snapped that it was on the menu. When I clarified I was simply offering feedback, she called me “rude” to my face.
Things quickly escalated. A verbal argument broke out between me, the waitress, and the cashier. At one point, the cashier threw my receipt onto my purse—completely uncalled for. When I said I wouldn’t be returning, one of them said, “We don’t need you here anyway.”
They then began laughing, speaking in Spanish, and mocking me openly. I asked to speak to the manager or owner and was told he “doesn’t speak English.” I was stunned.
This wasn’t just bad service—it was blatant hostility, especially toward seniors. Bialy’s falsely markets itself as “family friendly,” but based on my experience and many reviews, it’s anything but.
I wish I could rate this restaurant with no stars, that’s just how bad our experience was.
I’m seriously considering filing a complaint for false advertising, and I encourage others to think twice before dining here. Bialy’s Café is not welcoming, not professional, and not trustworthy. I do **not** recommend it. Who owns Bialy’s Cafe?
BEWARE!

VERY LOUD! Crowded but expected since it was mother’s day. Seated quickly, ordered pretty quick but took forever to get the food. People seated after us was almost done! Food was good but not great. Dever omelet was good. Veggies were crisp not soggy, ham was off the bone, but egg was a little over cooked. Coffee good & kept filled. Pancakes were notably inconsistent in size. Check put was a disaster. No check just gave table number at register. Some customers questioned pricing. Maybe try again on another day. But do not expect to have a great conversation.

It’s a homey, welcoming neighborhood diner. The food was tasty, and the service was kind and quick. Not something I would indulge in daily (or even weekly), but I enjoyed the typical American breakfast and coffee refills. Puncakes were fluffy, meat soft, coffe strong. It’s convenient (just around the corner!) and quiet affordable.

Their food is delicious! The stuffed pepper soup was so good! I ate a small chicken breast salad. Their potions are large. I would recommend this place for take out or dine in.

The food is great, been coming here for over 12 years but lately the customer service has gone downhill, specially with the younger waitresses, no signage, nothing posted on their menu either, you now get charged an automatic gratuity charge when your total is above a certain dollar amount, since tip is already being charged they deliver horrible service, which is very unfortunate since this was our go to breakfast place because of the service, food and reasonable prices, but not anymore. Train your employees better and be transparent about charges for extra items, gratuity, etc.

Today, after coming to this establish for the past 4 years, I ordered a steak burrito like I always do customized with jalapeño, onion, and peppers with rice on the side. I am not sure how the waitress rang it up but the total with tip included was $45?! Again, I have came here consistently and this is exactly the same order I get each time. They charged each item individually totaling $20 in additional customizations. In speaking with other customers at the restaurant as I was leaving, they even said they did increase their prices. I am so disappointed because the food and salsa is so good but they really need to train their staff on how to input orders consistently and correctly.
