I had a wicked good lunch here today! I came by myself at noon and found plenty of seating in the dining room. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans. The nice lady that took my order told me she loves the pulled pork sandwich with caramelized onions and cheddar cheese. That sounded great to me, so I ordered mine that way too. My order came in less than 5 minutes. I asked if they had any spicy barbecue sauce, but they didn’t. The server asked if I’d like to try their Blackberry Heat sauce, because it was a little spicy. I tried it and it was amazing! It wasn’t very spicy, but it was sweet and delicious, and it complimented the barbecue sauce very well. If you’re reading this, you should try it too. I really enjoyed my lunch today.

Delicious awesome flavors. Dr pepper barbecue. Black berry spice wings. It’s all very good and tasty. Cole slaw was delicious. Meat was to die for. Backed beans could have passed on. But everything was so good. The nachos were soo good and fresh. Definitely a great stop. Staff is amazing and kind.

This is a self service place, you order at the front counter, and you come back to collect your food when your buzzer rings. We ordered ribs and it was very tender, dropped off the bone type, but not enough sauces so some part tasted dry. No water is served as well.

Great tasting BBQ. Rubs were fall apart and the beans were really good. Brisket was dry but still had great flavor. Let me tell you though…the reason you absolutely must come to this place is the corn bread with maple butter! It’s the best I’ve ever had!

Little local joint with some pretty good eats. Pulled pork was listed and sauce over it was good. Brisket was good, couple of the pieces were on the dry side, 3 were nice n moist. Ribs good flavor, have a bite, not my favorite. Cornbread was really good, served in its own micro-sized lodge cast iron skillet! Had 6 beers in draft. Loved the “re-modeled” tree art outside. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Our first time trying this restaurant. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious, and huge. Pulled pork sandwich was good. Fries were decent, not homemade but still good. Loved the pretzels! However, we were disappointed in the baked beans and the corn bread. The beans seemed more like I was eating chili instead of baked beans considering it was kidney beans. And the corn bread just lacked flavor. Wasn’t a huge fan of the food being served in to go boxes to dine in at the restaurant. It was more of a “self serve” style. However, we would still return because we enjoyed our food!

Needed a quick off-the-highway meal. Brisket and pulled pork were sooo tasty! And cole slaw was perfect – and I am very picky about my cole slaw. The staff were super friendly and efficient. Also, bathrooms very clean! Will definitely go back, as we travel this route a few times a year.

WA BBQ was a delicious visit today. I stopped by for lunch, and I’m glad I did! Classic BBQ set up w the smoker(s?) outside under tents. Might have been ten? four tops and a short bar.

I ordered the brisket and ribs combo and a cup of chowda. The soup was good, very creamy – and served hot. Not so full of clams as the menu promised, so probably not worth the price. Just had to try.

Combos come w salad. I was here for meat, so the salad seemed an afterthought. But, it was VERY good. Fresh, crunchy, and served, in my case, w some excellent blue cheese dressing. But, like I said, I was here for the meat!

The brisket was the king here. 8 oz serving was probably overweight. Tender, juicy, beefy and smoky. The pink ring stood out like it was painted on. I could have eaten more, only if I had stretch waist pants on!

The 1/3 rack of ribs were OK, but paled compared to the beef. Tender pork just didn’t have the smoke flavor I was wanting. But, I ate it all and would have eaten more.

The meal came with a heavenly corn cake cooked in the world’s smallest cast iron “pan”. I thought it was a fun gimmick. But, it was light and fluffy like a pillow made from angel’s wings. Really amazing.

My waitress encouraged me to get the excellent potato salad for my side. I think it isn’t always on the menu. My lucky day.

They had a nice selection of beers at the bar. I was returning to work. So I had iced tea. Good brew!
