Super happy to say they had vegan food! I had Pat’s at the Beacon Farmers Market and it was pretty good. I enjoyed everything on the plate and honestly wish I had more food to eat haha. Didn’t try the oxtails but it looked very good.

Pat’s Kitchen is a black own business and I firmly believe in supporting black own businesses. I supported this business for years and received the same substandard product consistently.
I am not going to focus too much on the customer service because there is overwhelming reviews on that topic. I noticed that they have made efforts to enhance customer service without success.
My main complaint is about the quality of the meat that is served. People are paying their hard earned money for product that is substandard to put in their bodies.
Pat’s Kitchen has raised their price consistently over the years and continue to serve poor product. Pat’s meat consist of the following….
10% Meat
50% Bone
20% Fat
10% Gristle or Cartilage
10% Other
I really hope Pat’s Kitchen will consider this review and turn things around for the customers that will continue to come to restaurant to support them. It’s unfortunate, but I gave it my best.

If you are in the Poughkeepsie area, you have to go to Pat’s Kitchen. Authentic Jamaican food, cooked by Pat and her family. I have never been disappointed with how their food taste. I was so impressed that I had them cater my wedding, and weeks after our even was over, folks were still talking about the food. Delicious, Delicious, delicious!!!
While other restaurants tried to charge me over $4,000 to cater our wedding, Pat charged less than half and we had food for 180 people. Go to Pats.

Okay let me start by saying that any employee I’ve ever encountered here is always so kind and have great customer service. The FOOD is… AMAZING. After the first taste I had at the millbrook farmers market they hold on saturdays… I’ve been HOOKED. Literally drop everything I’m doing every Sat to make sure I get their jerk chicken or chicken stew. Just absolutely delicious. GO HERE!!! I’m drooling just thinking about it.

The food is good, when they have some. More of the time by 5pm they only have 2 or 3 dishes left. Sometime the service is slow. The only place that has jerk pork on Fridays, however the dining room is always hot while waiting for food
