First stop for food in Glenwood on our train trip! I ordered the BTO croissant sandwich that came with ranch potatoes. The potatoes were cold and not great but the sandwich was amazing! Hot and fresh. I also ordered a hot mocha and they didn’t have skim or 2% so I got whole milk. It was super delicious. Overall I loved the atmosphere and supporting local I just wished the potatoes were hot! It’s pricey but it is a touristy town so $25 for 1 person for food and coffee with tip.

Neat looking place! Walked in 10 minutes after they opened at 8:10 on a Tuesday. Not very skilled baristas, or friendly for that matter. Lots of flies everywhere. Decided to leave early because the coffees weren’t good and the flies were crazy aggressive. There was a bug zapper on one of the tables in the dining area. After placing our coffees in the bus tub full of the previous days dishes we realized why the flies were so bad. Posting this more for the ownership awareness. Team either needs training and support or full on change. Good luck!

Bishop the owner is the sweetest guy you could ever meet. So helpful and kind. His family and he have dedicated themselves to helping others and their cafe. By supporting BlueBird you’re supporting an outstanding family, a great mission and bringing resources to those in need. The food was delicious, the drinks were great and the vibes immaculate!
Thanks Bishop!!!!!

More of a coffee shop. Food was decent, not amazing. Very expensive, but you kind of expect that when in Glenwood Springs. It costs around $70 for four of us to have a very basic breakfast and drinks

Bluebird Cafe is more than just great food and a unique, inviting atmosphere—it’s a place where everyone is truly welcome. The staff is warm, inclusive, and celebrates diversity in every way. It’s an LGBTQ+ friendly space where kindness and community shine. Ashli and Bishop provided great and friendly service. 10/10 would recommend! Can’t wait to come back!

Though my breakfast burrito was pretty generic and not tasty until I drowned it in hot sauce, the overall cafe, coffee, and crew were excellent. Next time I’ll get a pastry which they had by the dozens. I loved the location and view of the bridge area, too.

Ordered bagel sandwich based on recommendation from cashier along with quiche, a cappuccino for breakfast and 2 cinnamon rolls for later. Coffee took awhile but was delicious, food took a bit too but was amazing and worth the wait.
However, when I went to eat the cinnamon rolls I was very upset. Upset that I only bought two and had already left town please start selling these and shipping them to Denver! They were amazing!
Love the details and atmosphere of the shop. Cashier was super sweet and helpful! Can’t wait to go back again.

Popped in here on a day trip to Glenwood Springs. Wandered around downtown, looking for a bite to eat but nothing really zinged us. On our second turn around the block, we discovered the Bluebird Cafe! This hidden gem has a quaint, ’70s retro era atmosphere, so cool!! My turkey sandwich was to die for and the avocado slices were fresh and delicious. My daughter got a bagel sandwich and proclaimed it excellent! I received a seasonal fruit cup, with my sandwich, and could have gotten a small dinner salad for a dollar fifty more.
The bathroom was spotlessly clean as was the entire restaurant! The owner was there and was very kind and accommodating. Prices were reasonable and the portions were generous.

Stopped in for some hot chocolate. It was recommended from another shop we were in, not too far away. First, I love the support that other businesses have for each other. Second, the hot chocolate was delicious!! Definitely will be returning. They also have art on the wall you can purchase!

Being celiac, I was searching for a good breakfast spot that had safe gluten free options. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and had tons of great menu items to choose from. We had the Lox bagel (GF) and the Lorraine quiche. Both were incredible and the bagel was the best I’ve ever had (again, GF). The bagel sandwiches also come full of gluten if your immune system likes you more than mine.
