When I walked in, I greeted the staff politely. They just told me to sit anywhere I liked. It was not busy at all in the morning, but no one came over to offer a menu or ask what I would like to order.
After waiting, I went up to the counter and told them I wouldn’t be ordering and would be leaving. I wasn’t angry – it’s simply not worth getting upset over – but I did tell them that the service was very poor. One older, thin man inside replied with an indifferent “Okay, bye,” which made it very clear they didn’t really care.
The place is quite large and it has a family style feel to it. I like to come here after work to eat alone and take my time. I can sit and eat as slowly as I want without feeling rushed. They’ll check in once in a while, but they’re not overly attentive, which I really like. When it’s time to pay the bill, just walk up to the register; they’re not going to bring your bill to you. They have long business hours and seem like they stay quite busy. I’ll be back again soon.
When it comes to their food not only is their signature dish, Pho amazing but I’m very fond of their vermicelli noodles! They cook all their meat very well. They have an entire section dedicated to vegetarians. They also have a kids menu. My guest and I ordered the number 8. Combo noodle Pho and 9 which included eye round steak, brisket, flank tendon, and tripe. We had the large size and it was plenty. They have small, large and extra large and they have good portions. They’re also another Asian restaurant who keeps the sauces, spices, and utensils on the table for the customer to do as they please.
The employees are all very nice and courteous. I’ve had a gentleman who I don’t know if he was a server or chef, but my pho was getting cold and I was continuing to eat it so he came out with new hot broth and I was so grateful! That is very thoughtful and observant restaurant service.
There is parking since it’s an outlet area near food Maxx, Ross, Dollar Tree. There is handicapped parking as well as wheelchair accessibility.
To all my Sonoma county people out there I recommend trying this place! If you already have, keep up the good work. This is great Asian food and service!
Shrimp but I can’t eat shrimp since I’m
allergic and I let them know , they fixed it with no complains at all and it was fixed really fast!
Bi cuon – came out soggy but taste was there.
Beef salad – not even close to it’s description. I was expecting rare steak cooked in lemon juice. I got grilled steak on a bed of cabbage.
Com suong bi trung op la – again the bi was soggy. Pork chop was decent with a nice char. Can’t complain about an over-easy egg.
