Nutritious! Delicious! Sumptuous! Extravagant! So mouth watering that we feasted there all day Saturday and camped outside The Hub main door until they opened up the next day (jk)! We were amazed by the meticulous care and attention-to-detail given to the preparation of the largest and most delicious banana split ever to be created by humankind (see attached). Very reasonable prices too, for everything. If I’m ever in the Burwell area again, we will definitely stop by again. I recommend this place highly to anyone craving a sweet treat. The Hub is the Epitome of heavenly delights, serving culinary dishes prepared by the best UNL Agri-business university-trained specialists!

Almost Everyone who works here knows me, growing up here in Le Town of Burwell NE a quaint little town most everybody knows everyone Loll. Personally this is the place I try to come to everyday (or when I can) to have time with God by myself, or Christian Fellowship, enjoying the company of everyone who comes into this Coffee Shop, as a Born Again Christian this year (January 1st 2025) this is the place where I feel God strongest in my life. As it’s a very Positive Place & Continuing To Have A Place Like This To Continue Growing My Faith In God & Le 3 In 1!! Praise God For This Business & Bless the Peeps who work here!! If you are visiting and just want a Place where it’s very friendly & positive & Christian Based & Just Peaceful, from someone (Me) who has lived here ever since she was 3 Years Old (I am now 30) PLEASE COME VISIT!!! And if you’re out of town & just stopping by or vacationing here for the summer this place is extremely Peaceful!! ✝️

I usually venture out only during the months when the weather is nice. The Hub is a place I like to go when I want to see or visit with positive people. I haven’t had a meal here but sure do love their customizable menu of coffee and ice cream based beverages! Fun to be able to add an espresso shot to a milkshake after working in the garden.

They offer ice cream, coffee, hot dogs and chili. The hotdog was good. My friend had the chili and wished he ordered two bowls!
The ice cream got rave reviews from some locals, but it was 20 degrees outside.. so we didn’t try it.
The staff is friendly and helpful. They gave us some advice on local restaurants that really paid off.

Charming place to stop for ice cream, coffee, and a little atmosphere peppered with Jesus, located on an old-fashioned historic town Square. Not the fastest barista on the world but very friendly.

Great malts. Nice ambience in renovated old building. Coffee good. Friendly service from mature staff (owner?). Youthful staff would benefit from basic customer service training. I would stop again if in the area and sample more of their beverage menu.

The Hub in downtown Burwell is a great place to stop for your favorite coffee drink or just a place to catch up on the town news. John the owner is always friendly and quick to encourage you with a verse of scripture and a prayer. They also carry antiques for you to browse and to take home for the right price.
