That definitely looks pretty good but I grew up on 28th & Kostner and it definitely doesn’t look anything like Home Run Pizza.

Tonight we ordered take out. We got the SMOP thin crust pizza and it was sooo delicious. I’ve also tried their chili and itialian sandwich in the past which were also delicious. Very nice service and crowd of people. I just discovered this place and I plan to come again someday.

Holy cow. This place is incredible. Super concientous of dietary restrictions (lactose intolerant here, hi!), wonderful and warm customer service, and truly top-notch food.
I all but begged them to open a spot in my home town of Lafayette because I want to eat here again and again.
Highlights: everything! Just everything! … but for real, the Pastrami on rye and the homemade grape vinaigrette. This place is the real deal.
They also have fresh fruit as a side and Jones soda on tap, so, in short, this place is classy as hell.

My experience at this restaurant was a bit disappointing. The tenderloin was thinner than expected, and the breading seemed overcooked, possibly due to the fryer oil. The atmosphere was also affected by a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which wasn’t ideal. On a positive note, our waitress was very friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. We ended up leaving quickly and grabbed Raising Cane’s chicken fingers afterward. I’d suggest skipping this spot if you’re looking for a great tenderloin, but the service was a highlight.

I’ll start off by saying their pizzas are outstanding this was their sweet heat chicken pizza and this delicious potato soup. Our server was so kind and informative regarding the specials they offered. The atmosphere was great and filled with their regulars. The place can be a bit smokey so if you’re sensitive to cigarette smoke you may want to go during non-busy times. Our experience was terrific and we’ll continue to support this establishment. Also, their fried pickles are phenomenal

Got a deep dish Hawaiian pizza, supreme thin crust and some fried mushrooms and I have to say it was all on point! Food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend. I’d add a photo but we already ate all the food.

We like to be out and about during the day. This “Local Option” is a superb one for lunch. The bartender, Deb, is friendly and provides great service. Now, let’s talk about this food!! If you’re a first timer, try the thin crust pizza… it is absolutely the bomb I understand why it’s award winning. Don’t stop at the pizza, however, the pork tenderloin is spectacular. Also, it’s made from scratch like most of the menu. Stop in if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!
