We had a large party that ended up getting bigger through the evening. The staff was so accommodating and never rushed us. Prices were reasonable and food was delicious. Music and TVs were the perfect volume and great atmosphere for catching up with old friends.

Had a very nice lunch today. The dollar tacos were excellent and a bargain. Place was full by noon so lots of others like the place, too! Food is reasonable and the servers are very nice and hard working. I’ll be back.

Loved this place! A good bar with good food. A good amount of seating. Women’s restroom was clean, 2 stalls. The wings andeals came out fast and fresh. Cheese steak was stuffed! I asked for extra Chipotle mayo as I like it saucy. The fries had good batter! Dinner prices were pretty good! Service was good! Would be back

We went for a late-night dinner and received quick, friendly service. The cocktails were delicious, especially the blueberry mule and blueberry cosmo! All the food was really good for pub fare, but the tenderloin was a bit of a letdown. It was breaded in a way that reminded me of fish and chips, which wasn’t what I expected but wasn’t terrible.

Nice neighborhood establishment with delicious food! Decided to stop when saw the special on their sign. Pleasantly greeted, menu was full of great sounding foods. Cocktails were reasonably priced and staff was very efficient. VERY HAPPY with everything!

You have to try their new and improved chicken sandwich freshly breaded in house. Very good. Can’t think of one better. The new cheesesteak on the menu is delicious too and we always get great service from the team.

Apps and sides were great. Service was pretty bad, never had a refill on drinks and other servers helped out. Main dish was burnt. Back in the day we used to go there often , now I will skip.

Breakfast- Best omelettes in the Iowa City- North Liberty area. Ditto for the their pancakes. Great staff. Very friendly & attentive. Shakes is like a combo family & sports pub. Lunch/Dinner-Best Breaded Tenderloin in the Iowa City -North Liberty Corridor. Flatbread pizza is fantastic. Breaded cauliflower-Excellent. Great place for happy hour. Just a mile from our home. My favorite spot.
