This legendary Arlington institution (just outside of DC) is an absolute must visit for anyone craving classic American roadside food. The food here is, without exaggeration, delicious.
I highly recommend trying their famous Half Smoke, it’s grilled perfectly, loaded with their signature chili, and truly lives up to the hype. Everything, from the main course to the crispy home fries, tasted fresh and satisfying.
Beyond the food, the service makes this place shine. The staff working the walk up window were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s rare to find such genuinely kind service at a quick stop spot, and they clearly take pride in their work and their long history. It makes the entire experience feel warm and authentic.
If you’re in the area and looking for high quality, delicious comfort food served with a smile, Weenie Beenie is the place to go. I can’t wait to go back!

That was by far the worst chilli dog I ever had in my life.. it was the half smoke chilli dog .. the half smoke tasted reheated and old.. VERY TOUGH to bite.. chilli was barely there and covered with onions.. smelled weird.. even had my girlfriend try to make sure I wasnt being extra. Will not return here.

I ordered via DoorDash. The order was ready quickly because they keep a set amount of food in a warming box. I thought the food was good, especially for the price. The half-smoked had a lot of flavor with the perfect amount of condiments. The burger was okay. I should’ve gotten chili on it instead of the onions. It would’ve given the burger more flavor.
The gentleman behind the counter could’ve been friendlier. He told me that I should’ve ordered from the restaurant instead of ordering through DoorDash as he handed me my order. What he didn’t know was that I had DoorDash credits and rewards that paid for my entire meal. I just smiled at him and said “oh really?”, walked away, and enjoyed my food in the park close by.
I’d probably return if I was in the area again. It was cool to try a DC half-smoked and to visit an institution that’s been around since 1954.

It’s a classic neighborhood counter service take out joint. I’d say it’s a good treat after a long visit to the VA DMV.
Good quality stuff, better prices. Only part I didn’t like was the relish, they use the sweet kind. Other than that, was all good & not asking about the relish was on me.
Looking forward to next time.

Take out only, its a food stand that serves simple options and seems to cater to laborers. I got a chili dog and potato salad for $8. Both were really good. I don’t know who makes or where they get their potato salad, but it was one of the best ones I have ever had

Food is okay but somehow I was charged over $40 for two Philly cheese combos and no drinks, a cheeseburger, and a half smoke all the way. Prices on menu say $10.89 each for the combos, $4.09 for the cheeseburger, and $4.59 for the half smoke. Also told me the combos did not come with a drink when I asked him.
I asked for a receipt and they gave me one that wasn’t itemized after 3-5 minutes of waiting for it. This is my wife and I’s first time there but I highly doubt I’ll be going back. It’s advertised as inexpensive food but it really isn’t. Not sure what that’s all about but it’s pretty shady.

Hilarious that they replied all of this time later, took all of this time to “get it right” in the comments in regards to pricing but of course they were too incompetent to attempt to do that on the same day lol. I wish I took pictures of the menu that day. But as you’ll see, others have complained about how rude their team is in recent reviews, and if you look at the one from them in reply to this, you’ll see how hostile they are. I stand by what I said before, not going back and I haven’t gone back. Being in their feelings a whole year later is something though I was being as nice as I could before but don’t waste your money here. Below bare minimum customer service (didn’t think that was possible LOL), overpriced food, and just overall not a great option compared to others. This place is attached to nostalgia for locals and nothing else. I think there’s McDonald’s down the street if you’re looking for something of higher quality
