Breakfast- lunch- dinner- soft serve ice cream- lunch specials- home made biscuits- fried chicken breast- hamburgers- hotdogs- strip dinners- smoked bbq- vegetable plates – Come visit and sit down in our dinning room or take it home. We was called the Tastee Freez in Fairmount from April of 1969 – 1989 when My Mom owned the buisness. Then in 1989 we became the owners and in 1998 the franchise lost contract and we named the business KC’S Corner. Still family owned for the 20 years that Mom was here and now the 34 years we have been here. We lost Eddie in 2021 to kidney complications after he had COVID for all of you who didn’t know. Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart for all that continues to come and eats with us. Thank you God!

We’re on our way home to Kentucky and this by far was the best food I’ve ate on our trip! Everyone is so friendly, restaurant and dining area was very clean! The homemade biscuits and gravy were outstanding!

I just stopped in tonight on my way home from work to get a Pizza. The pizza was fine but the young kids working in there are nothing but rude. If it’s a pizza you want just drive about 8 minutes north to Owens grocery. You can get the same Pizza at the same price but with more respectful employees

First time stopping by we live in Ellijay and work in Emerson so we drive by daily. Looked like a neat little spot that reminded us of home however, walking in was less than exciting to say the least. Not one person greeted us in fact I wasn’t even asked what I wanted. The young lady at the counter seemed bothered and wouldn’t make eye contact. At first I thought maybe they were having a rough day but even after smiling and trying to get some kind of reaction we got absolutely nothing, not a thank you, have a nice day nothing. We will absolutely give y’all another try because I’m all about second chances. Growing up in a cafe myself please talk with your front counter about customer service. The food was amazing.

You need to fix your schedule for Sunday, shows online you open at 7 and the ladies inside say 7:30.

Thanks for your response back, I updated my review, I was mad, I missed out on the best sausage biscuit and gravy ever.

The food was fantastic. The biscuit and gravy is top notch! The biscuit was fluffy and not dry. The gravy was nice and thick with the creamiest of textures, plus the gravy didn’t taste sweet like some places do. The staff was professional (some are not morning people. ) One lady was very friendly. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I absolutely plan on going back. The prices are very fair for the amount of good food, and even if some aren’t morning people, they were still pleasant to communicate with.

Stop asking for tips you hand me my food across the counter so do you feel like there should be a tip involved you didn’t come to my table and and you didn’t bring my food to my table the food is good but i usually pass this place by because of the way the cashier puts you on the spot asking for tips tips are earned not expected

Haven’t been down that way in a while so took the opportunity to stop in and cool off from the heat. The food was excellent and the hospitality was as southern as you can get. Love this place and the ladies that keep it going.
