First, let me say, we love Los Reyes and bypass at least 6 other Mexican restaurants and drive almost a half hour to come to your restaurant and will continue to do so. I usually get a quesadilla or burrito, but last weekend I got the fajitas. I was a bit disappointed, they were “okay” but not great. The pieces of meat (combination chicken and steak) were so tiny, it was hard to detect any flavor. It’s chopped (or sliced up) way too small. I guess the places where I’ve had really good fajitas in the past (in a different state where we lived for 30 years) made them different and the pieces of fajita meat were always about the size of an average index finger … very meaty and full of flavor. That may be the way it’s done around here and it’s just not what we’re used to and that’s okay. I’ll just go back to ordering something different next time. Our server was a very nice, sweet girl and was very pleasant. But as a former restaurant employee and manager, she could use some pointers to be more efficient. When seated (not by our server), he laid down three menus on the table. There were 4 adults and 2 children in our party. Would be very helpful if silverware was laid down at the same time, as we had to ask for it later. She took our drink order (I asked for water with no lemon, but got water with no ice … not a huge deal, so I didn’t mention the error, I just didn’t drink the water), brought our drinks in a timely manner, then gave us a few minutes to look at the menu. Someone brought us the little bowls of salsa (which was very good) and chips. I asked for some little plates so we could each put some chips on them and stop having to pass the basket or reach across each other every time we needed a chip, but we never got any. She took our order and brought back our 2 bowls of cheese dip we had ordered, along with 3 little small styrofoam cups. We actually needed some little cups or small bowls for each of us so we wouldn’t have to dip out of the main bowl, but we didn’t have any. Our food came out in a pretty timely manner, too. But she didn’t come by and check on things except one time and everything was fine at that time. But we had to flag her down every time we needed something. At different times, we had to ask for more chips, extra napkins, extra plates and when we needed to-go boxes, she never looked over at our table (from the checkout counter) for a long time, so I finally had to get up and get them myself. As a former server, I would suggest training your servers to ANTICIPATE what their tables need … like the napkins, refills, silverware, little dip bowls, more chips, to go boxes, etc. rather than making the guests have to raise their hand or flag them down to ask for everything. There were only about 4-5 tables in the restaurant at the time, so it wasn’t like it was too busy. I am only saying this to try to be helpful, not just to be critical. I hope you will take this as constructive criticism and not as a complaint. Thank you.

I’ve been to this spot many times and they continue to impress. The food is consistently excellent — no matter what I order, it always comes out fresh, flavorful, and exactly as expected. Service here is another highlight. The staff are always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which makes the experience feel personal every time.
They recently remodeled, and the updates look fantastic. The space feels brighter and more comfortable while still keeping that inviting atmosphere that’s made this place such a favorite in town. Between the reliable food, the attentive service, and the refreshed look, it’s easy to recommend Los Reyes to anyone looking for a great meal and a pleasant dining experience.

Waitress was very polite. She cut up with us and brought our food out. Stayed on top of the drinks. Only complaint was other customers with big groups being loud. I couldn’t hear my boyfriend talk nor could he hear me.

Excellent. The lady asked if I want beef or chicken in the burrito, and I said carne asada. And it was amazing. Should have told her pico de gaio. Oh well. The guacamole is so good!!!

The atmosphere feels very outdated, mismatched and sort of “damp,” so if aesthetics matter to you, probably not your vibe. The table didn’t feel clean and some of silverware definitely wasn’t. The service was friendly but a bit slow. We waited for about 10 minutes after eating for our check before heading to the desk without it.
As for the food, the chips and salsa was standard, along with the red rice and beans. I ordered fajitas (because they’re pretty much a universal option at most Mexican restaurants and made to order) and they were undercooked, giving the dish a watery taste and making me wonder if my chicken and shrimp spent long enough on the grill. The tortillas were the standard prepackaged flour ones so no surprise there. The quesadilla that I ordered for my daughter was quite good though, hot, perfectly grilled and generously stuffed.
All in all, it wasn’t terrible but I won’t be returning. There are others in the area that do things more effectively and efficiently.

My favorite go to restaurant! It’s just around the corner from my house! Food is always hot fresh and they don’t skimp on the portions! If it’s not Los Reyes than you can count me out.

Not much in the way of ambiance or service but the best and cheapest Mexican food around. Best chips, cheese dip, and margaritas. If you like hot, request the tomatillo sauce.

Their food is so good! It’s southern style Texmex and it is comfort food to the MAX. If you’re looking for Cali-style tacos or something, you might want to look elsewhere but if you want food that will put a smile on your soul, get to Los Reyes.
Called in a to-go order for 5 people tonight and it was ready in 15 mins and they threw in chips and salsa just cuz.
Get the fajita nachos. Just do it. My picture doesn’t do them justice because it was a to go order but those fajita nachos are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. Treat yoself.
