Cowlicks has always been my favorite place to get ice cream. The quality is still the absolute same and amazing but I do miss the previous owner! She used to go above and beyond to build relationships with her customers. This is also the only shop I can find the thin chips in the mint ice cream. Truly the best ice cream shop around!

The staff was very friendly and let me sample a few different flavors. The ice cream is home-made and soooo amazing! Definitely returning!! I was able to get a small sampling of eight different flavors with rainbow jimmies. We also got a brownie sundae!

What an amazing experience at Cowlicks! There is a sign on the wall that I identified this location is one of the best ice cream spots in America and certainly the choices did not disappoint. We opted for a Keylime Sundae, as well as a s’more Sundae, which was chock full of delicious ingredients, intense flavors, and great portion sizes. The customer service staff was exemplary. Highly recommend you check out this iconic destination

When a place offers an ice cream flavour called Superman you know I am giving it 5 ⭐️
This place was right down the road from our favourite pizza place Crown Pizza and we thought we would have desert here. I was all set on trying this Banana pudding flavour when my son pointed to the Superman. I then had no choice. Happy to say I was not disappointed in this yellow red and blue concoction. According to the board it is a combination of banana strawberry and blue moon which may be a raspberry type. Either way it was delicious especially on a chocolate dipped waffle cone.
Unfortunately I did not read the board and ordered a medium which I thought was 2 scoops but in fact it was 3. The first scoop is buried deep in the cone. A small (2 scoops)would have been plenty and they go up to XL which I believe is 5 scoops . These scoops are not small so be aware. They have outdoor seating under a shelter roof and parking is in the front right off the road. Staff was friendly and quick. Not too busy in the evening but that may be due to the quick service. Definitely a must try place.

Great service & a great environment with ton of seating outdoors (as well as some inside) and a large outdoor play area for kids. The portion sizes were huge – both what we ordered and what we saw being served to others. It was a hot summer evening when we were there, and very busy! The ice cream was branded as Hershey’s, which doesn’t seem to be the highest quality, but this was still worth checking out to experience the shop itself.

She was incredibly kind and prepared a variety of ice-creams for us. The reasonable prices, along with the clean and cute interior of the shop, made the whole experience very satisfying. I would definitely recommend this place!

Been coming here for years when we go to Mystic. Excellent quick service and amazing ice cream! As raspberry fan, had the Roadrunner Raspberry, great raspberry and chocolate combo. My wife had Salted Caramel which she said hit the salted caramel spot! Thanks, will always stop by.

I loved the ice cream. It was Hershey’s, and the staff was super nice. The only objection that I might have is that they’re dark chocolate. Ice cream had raspberry swirl. It would be nice to have just a dark chocolate. Ice cream for my wife. I had the cookies and cream with rainbow shots. Yum.
