I finally found it! I have been looking for great Indian food in west Broward and here it is – Taj Indian Grill located in Cooper City. This is a cozy restaurant with no frills and excellent Indian food. We had the plain, butter and garlic naan (all delicious) with mango chutney. We also had butter paneer and tandoori chicken. We ordered the regular portion – which fed us at lunch with enough leftovers for another meal – but they have lunch portions too. Highly recommend.

I’ve been wanting to dine here for a while now, I finally got the chance to come here for dinner. I love indian food✅✅✅✅✅ 5 out of 5 recommendation. I ordered the cheese nan (which I had had before) and the chicken biriyani which was (new to me) so good, I loved all the spices. This dish reminds me of the Spanish dish arroz con polleo but with Indian spices. This is definitely a must-go-to restaurant and I definitely recommend you trying the two menu I team I had.

Our favorite restaurant. Always great food and service. Very gluten free GF and vegetarian friendly, but plenty of meaty varieties for the omnivores.

I went later in the night so there were only a few tables occupied. I got the Chicken Tikka Marsala mildly spiced with garlic naan. The tikka even mildly had zero spice it was absolutely delicious with amazing flavor some of the best I’ve had minus the absolute lack of spice. I know I ordered it mild but mild doesn’t usually mean spice(heat) less. The chicken itself was a tad bit dry but honestly that’s very very common with most restaurants. Especially if cooked in a sauce of some sort. The naan was delicious but it was slightly lacking in the garlic flavor to my personal liking and in comparison to other places I’ve had but I think it is worth getting again. The service was a bit underwhelming due to not being checked on very often which honestly was only a problem when I had to flag someone down to be able to get more water.
I will visit again and do recommend others check this place out.

We enjoyed a South Indian non-veg Thali from Taj Indian Grill today, and it was absolutely delicious! It brought back wonderful memories of a Kerala feast. Every dish was fantastic and made the meal extra special. I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was so amazing that I couldn’t keep it to myself. If you’re searching for a great thali, I highly recommend giving Taj Indian Grill a try!

My husband & I decide to take this trip to India and finally we did it!! (Just this past Dec-2025) Im not a big fan of writing reviews but this time is different! So surprise to find kind and friendly people!!!
We used TAJ INDIA TRAILS !
The service we ask for was pick up and deliver from the Hotel plus a city tour.
Both Driver (Kamil) and guide( Navin) arrived on time and ready to go!! It was a really nice experience , they have all the patience (picture time was important to me ) and the acknowledge of the history of this beautiful place! , we talk about religion, people, food, everything was so colorful! we connected so quickly and we felt so secure on a foreign country thanks to the kindness of this 2 people that I decide to write this review. If you are reading this review i really hope you hire this Company! If we ever have another chance to visit Jaipur, we will call TAJ INDIA TRAILS again, no doubt about it!

Went in for lunch with my sister it was our first time there. Waiter who served us was very nice and patient this us as we figured out what we wanted to try.
I am gluten free and everything on the menu was labeled with either Gluten Free, Dairy Free or Vegetarian. It was very helpful because i hate being that customer asking a million questions. I can’t comform if it’s 100% safe for my celiac friends though.
I ordered the mango lassie and could of had 3 more it was really good and refreshing. My sister and I shared a Ghee dosa (a rice flour crape its was so large!) chicken briyani (chicken and rice with lots of aromatic spices we got at a meduim spice), and the lessoni gobi (crispy cauliflower which i swore was chicken with onions and bell pepper). Everything was so flavorful we were full by the end of our meal. Definitely be back to try some more dishes off the menu.

The chicken tikka masala is excellent. The lentil soup (Mulligatawny) was divine. The tikka chicken salad was good. We are so happy Cooper City finally has a good authentic Indian food restaurant. Service is excellent. The place is smallish inside but sufficiently entertaining! I also have previously really enjoyed their shrimp biryani.

This place used to be my favorite but it has really fallen off. the food today was so bad It could’ve been considered inedible. The only thing that had potential was the garlic naan but even that was mediocre at best. The butter chicken tasted like cheese milk with a hint of butter and that was it. Bland bland and more bland. Truly was disappointed in the food and the service. We had to ask them to fix the flavor a few times but it must have been the base sauce of the butter chicken that was off. The kicker was the older man attempting to mansplain needing to add spice when the spice was never the issue, the flavor was. Used to be a 10/10 now it’s 0/10 and I will never be back.

It’s located in a calm neighborhood with lot of parking ️. It wasn’t busy on a Saturday afternoon and staff were friendly.
Samosa Chaat – 5/5
Chicken 65 – 0/5 (No Salt, not warm, artificial coloring).
Dosa – 4/5 (Perfect dosa but Chutney and Sambar could have been better).
Garlic Naan and Chicken Vindaloo Curry – 5/5 (The best combination I’ve ever had).
Chicken Biryani- 3/5 ( Less quantity, very less meat, expensive for the quality and quantity).
Mango Lassi – 3.5/5
Lot of Tandoori/Clay oven options were available but we didn’t get a chance to taste them, will try next time.
