I was in the shopping center running an errand. I saw this place nextdoor and decided to grab a cup of coffee. I didn’t know this was a play area for small children as well. The shop is super cute, upscale, modern, fresh, and clean. The play area is to the left and gated so the little ones can’t wander off. There are treats and healthy snacks available. They also sell a small selection of nice toys and affordable clothes. The staff were kind and helpful. I got a latte to go, since I don’t have small kids. There are a couple of seats outside the past area if you don’t being kids and still want to hang out. It seems like it would be a great place for parents to network or for play dates. The coffee is very nice, smooth not bitter. They also offer a couple of non dairy milks.

Beautiful play cafe with great coffee and treats. I love that they clean between sessions and that the colors are muted and not overly stimulating. They have multiple little sections to enjoy for all age ranges. Came here with my 2 & 4 year old. They both had lots of fun!

I recently hosted my son’s first birthday party at Blue Jay Play Cafe, and I cannot recommend them enough to any mom wanting to host an easy party with no stress & a ton of fun for the kiddos! Booking was easy, and Kellie was very responsive and helpful. They even put a cute chalkboard sign out that said my son’s name by the front door so our guests could see it as they walked in. We were able to decorate the space how we wanted to, and they provide a bulletin board with push pins, a high chair for your little one to eat their smash cake in, and plenty of tables/chairs for your guests to sit/be comfortable. We were even able to hang a few pieces of decor from the ceiling via some pre-installed hoops they had. We did not spring for the package upgrade to buy out the coffee bar, but our guests LOVED that they were able to a coffee from the cafe’s warm and welcoming baristas (Alaina & Elyssa), they’re phenomenal! It’s easy for the parents to host a party here b/c the kids are all in a contained area, but with enough toys and interaction to keep them entertained while the adults mingle. Clean up was quick, and Kellie and her staff were so helpful to make the process fast. 10/10 would recommend this sweet, locally owned cafe for any mama looking to throw a special party for their child!

We had such a fun time at the Blue Jay Play Cafe! The atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone there was so kind and friendly. No long waits for coffee and pastries, which made the experience even better. The service was excellent, and the coffee was delicious! My toddler and his friend both had a blast playing. Will be returning for sure!

This was a wonderful little find during our beach weekend. Great little cafe vibe with a playhouse for toddlers. Beautiful design, range of play structures and toys, comfortable seating for adults, simple but delcious food and awesome coffee/hot drinks.
It rained one of the days we were here and finding somewhere that had play sessions for 8.30am when we had been awake with the little ones since 6am was perfect!
Even if we didn’t have kids we would stop on for a coffee and the avo toast.

Hosted my daughter’s 3rd birthday here and it was perfect! Kelly was very helpful and everyone, parents and kids, had a wonderful time! The play area is contained and very clean with a wide variety of toys. The bathrooms are clean and baby/kid friendly. The drinks were all delicious and we were able to decorate the space wonderfully for our theme!

I absolutely love this place! My 2.5 year old wild child daughter loves to come to “pay pace” several times a week with my infant and my sister and her 1 year old. The coffee is superb and the food is really good too. Busy mornings getting older kiddos to school, this is the best place to stop by if you haven’t had a chance to get your coffee and breakfast yet with toddlers. The employees are so sweet too and say hello to me by name. The membership is well worth it! So glad this place opened up here!!!

We typically frequent the Surf City tot times, but thought we’d try someplace new last week. So glad we did. We found some friends we knew there & we were greeted by friendly staff. All though the pipes were frozen, they made the best of it. The cold brew was yummy with a layer of thick pistachio cold foam on top.
Very clean with cute play areas. Such a sweet vibe. The price is $12 a child, which i feel is kind of high. Maybe they could do a sibling discount? Regardless we will be back, 2 kids, a coffee & a little break from the house for $30.
