At our Tupelo, MS location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.
Fast-food chain serving fried fish & shrimp combo meals along with gumbo & funnel cakes.

Since it’s been icy, I haven’t had the chance to go back until on January 23. I explained what I was told over the phone to basically being told that wasn’t true by the GM. And she was very unprofessional, arguing with me and even raised her voice at my boyfriend, refused a refund, said that no one would’ve told us that it would be remade (practically called us liars), and argued that the fish wasn’t rotten. That it’s a new fish they’re using and that’s just the way it tastes now. (I tried looking up any factual information on this and can’t find any.)
After she finally remade it and I got home with it, it was the same quality as last time. Rotten tasting/smelling with brown spots.
I don’t think it’s ‘new’ fish. I think it’s bad fish being sold as ‘new’.
Feeling very disrespected and don’t plan to be back.
Do with that what you will.
