We finally made our way to Glendora Public Market and I decided on The Taco Man while my fam chose something else. I should have read the reviews beforehand, but I was just swayed with the ad for market.
I ordered the regular al pastor burrito. The lady making my burrito was nice and followed my request of having the beans on the side. After wrapping the burrito it was placed on the grill to get nice char marks on the tortilla but alas, the meat itself was just warm and greasy on the inside.
The person in front of me ordered the big dunk. It’s a humongous burrito for $22+, it was comped by a lady doing marketing, he’s so lucky.
This is a place with cafeteria style seating, so the tables and chairs are shared for all customers of all the different stores/shops. Parking is shared as well and thankfully free.

Went here on ‘Tacos Tuesday’ in mid-July. Was surprised at how small and diminished the portions were plus they charge ‘extra’ for any salsas beyond the scant few they provide PLUS no green ‘guac’ sauce unless, again, you pay ‘extra’. Tasted just OK but have had better from street vendors in DownTown LA and El Monte as well. Hungry? Try ‘Dog Haus’ in the same complex ~ they’re worth it.

Bomb. Pretty much sums it up. Must have the tacodillas. There’s salsas are great as well. Green salsa is for flavor with little to no spice. Red salsa kicks it up a notch and has a good smoky flavor and spice level. The pineapple habanero salsa will burn a hole through carpet as it starts off with a sweet pineapple flavor and quickly lights you on fire.

I feel bad I kinda forget about the taco man here in the glendora public market when I’m craving tacos. They can really bring the heat (which I am totally for) don’t the pineapple habanero fool you, and the meat is good quality and well seasoned. Service is always friendly and efficient.

Came here a couple days ago to try out the tacos and they were absolutely horrible. Flavorless overcooked carne asada and the chorizo was very bland as well. I will not be back and do not recommend

The mulita asada was absolutely delicious. Chorizo and al pastor taco, perfection. The loss of a star is the bean and cheese burrito. The cheese wasn’t melted and the beans were room temp at best. Beans are not refried. I will return, for the tacos!! Green salsa was flavorful and not overly spicy. Portions were perfect!

Today was the first and last time I buy from The Taco Man at Glendora Public Market.
The food is so-so; the nachos are horrible, tasteless, and the meat was cold.

But the worst part is the bad attitude of the women working there: they don’t pay attention to your order, they give you the wrong food, and then they get upset if you tell them that’s not what you ordered. They mock you, literally laugh in your face, and look at you with a defiant attitude.

There’s a woman named Jenny who is the worst. It must be a family business because there are bad reviews about her from a few months ago, and she’s still working there.

I definitely won’t back again.

We ordered the “big donk” and my kids got the BRC. Both meals don’t come with a drink or chips so idk how its considered a meal ‍♀️.The taste and quality of the food did not match the price. Service tucked! Never coming back. Workers were Jenni & Alison.

I rarely write reviews, but 8/27 at 1:40pm I went here and man was this girls attitude nasty. She gave me the nastiest look when I miss heard her “ill be right with you” with her asking for what I wanted ti order. I told her what I wanted to order she said “ill be right with you” she talked to me no point after that on how id like my food. I then finally said I wanted it plain0 one I realized she already wrapped my food that I had no idea she started. Her whole demeanor was so off putting. The food was average but it truly was shocked how miserable this girl looked and acted about working there
