Don and Millies is serving up some good old fashioned American food. It’s been a long time since I had it and when I had the double cheeseburger combo I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the hamburger tasted and the onion rings were fantastic too! I’m now regularly visiting and I hope this brand can be rediscovered in the Omaha area because it deserves more business. Also, the manager who was working immediately made sure I was taken care of when there was a slight error and she did it with a smile…you just don’t see that at some fast food chain these days. Support local business, get your burgers and fries at Don & Milles. I also tried the cheese frenchie and the chili dog and both were awesome! I think my only critique would be to make the dining room really cool with 1950s diner type feel. Your demographic that is coming in wants to sit and enjoy their meal so I think that investment would pay off. Second, try to expand to more locations, you will beat Runza if you can expand…just from the food quality alone!

Just FYI, if you order for pick up on Door Dash they make you wait through the drive through even though your order is ready and there is no line inside. You will have to wait in the car line until all the drive through customers get their food first even though you ordered and paid ahead of time. Seems like a stupid waste of gas and time. Not good service or efficiency in my opinion. Most places you can just go in and grab it. Food was cold when I finally got it. Oh and they forgot my burger in the order!!!

I love Don and Millie’s but I’ll have to find a new location. I hadn’t been back for 8+ months due to an undercooked chicken sandwich not once but twice however I thought tonight I’d go get a southwest wrap – one of my favorites. Got home and was so disappointed. Not only was my wrap not a wrap more like a slender slim Jim but I literally had micro chips (mini pieces) for the tortilla chips with maybe 3-4 full size chips not broken to pieces. The chip portion looked like a kids serving definitely no need for the extra salsa I asked for. Unfortunately the next closest is about 25 minutes out so I guess I’ll get it when I’m close to it. Tonight was definitely not worth the 13.00 paid.

This has to be the WORST Don and Millie’s we have ever frequented. 2 times now our order was bad. 1st time they forgot the top bun on the chicken club sandwich. I spoke with Angela, the manager, and she promised coupons for combo meals. That was 2 weeks ago. Decided to try again anyway. Tonight ordered chili with extra extra onions. Got it home no extra onions and the chili was watery with NO BEANS. once again I spoke with Angela, told her about the chili, she told me, “funny, I just had a bowl 30 minutes ago and it was fine” She basically accused me of lying. This is what upset me. She said she would mail out more coupons but said they come from corporate and didn’t know when. We ended up exchanging words, she told me to just call corporate and HUNG UP ON ME. I took our meal back. She said, “I don’t want any of that back, there’s nothing we can do with it” very snotty. She said, “Where’s your ticket? There’s nothing I can do regarding a refund without your ticket ” I gave her the ticket, she issued the refund to my card. YES I WILL CALL CORPORATE. THE BIG ISSUE WAS BEING ACCESSED OF LYING ABOUT THE WATERY NO BEAN CHILI

Worse experience ever. Took me from the drive thru board to drive thru window 2 about five minute and then it took almost 15 minutes to get a hot dog kids meal, onion rings, a baked potato and a bot sandwich. Manager gave me a nasty remark and not even one apology. Used to be regulars before Covid and I will not be back there again.

I was shocked paying $6+ for a plain cheeseburger with ketchup & mayo.
Made the comment “WOW for a cheeseburger” when the cashier told me the price. I don’t think she was happy about my comment. I made it out loud to myself in shock. She had a bit of an attitude or was anxious to go home. I don’t know but, obviously not thrilled.
When I got to my destination, about 5 minutes away, I opened the foam box and took a bite. It was cold. The bun, the burger, all cold so I looked inside the burger and it was raw!
Never a good experience at any Don & Millie’s.
They aren’t customer friendly! They definitely don’t take customers into their for thoughts when it comes to customer service.
But their prices are ridiculous!
Has anyone ever gone to In-N-Out burger on the west coast?
They sell $4.00 burgers even in this economy and they get it right all the time. Staff is nice and a great environment. They let you buy shirts through the drive thru.
I can’t even get Don & Millie’s to do a 2 and order through the drive thru.
I use to get food for a client and they wouldn’t let me order separately for myself.
Too inconvenient for them.

Me and my husband have gone here several times and they never miss the mark! The food is always fresh and tasty and the employees are always very friendly. We’ve gone on different days with different people at different times and it’s always amazing! One of the few places you don’t have to say “You can only go there during lunch” etc. Definitely recommend!
