I drive down this road all the time and can’t believe I never noticed such a wonderful chocolate shop before! Their hot chocolate drink is absolutely divine — rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The interior design matches my taste completely — cozy, elegant, and full of charm. The staff are incredibly sweet and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. This place is truly a chocolate lover’s dream. Definitely worth a visit! ☕✨

My wife and i visited this cafe for the first time to try it out, and we are glad that we did. This place is amazing with huge variety of chocolates, ice-cream, and drinks to choose from. Everything is delicious. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great tasting coffee place.

Delicious tiramisu latte with oat milk and the champagne truffles were to die for! Fascinating decor, the paintings were from a gentleman who paid for his bar tab when it was a bar by depicting different national parks. It also used to be a bank, and there are bullet holes in the walls!

What an absolute gem in downtown Lafayette! Saw a sign on the sidewalk saying that there was a tiramisu latte and just had to stop in. The staff was so lovely and even told us a little bit about the history of the building. The paintings that you see are originals from the previous owner who would go on hikes and then paint the paintings and put them up. Allegedly there was a fight at one point and that’s why there is a hole in one of the paintings from apparently a bullet. Lovely conversation, delicious chocolates, really good latte. 10/10 highly recommend

The gelato is the best and we love stopping by with our entire family! The chocolate is top notch and Chocolaterie Stam has been a family favorite since it opened. Only thing I’d change is that there is just not quite enough seating and it always runs out on a cold day! It’s definitely a result of how much people love it though❤️

Chocolaterie Stam in Lafayette is a gem. It is a wonderful place for a delicious variety of chocolates either choosing your own or taking a pre-chosen box. The pieces have interesting shapes(they have a chocolate turkey) to enjoy the beauty as well as the taste. I love them and have given them as Christmas and birthday gifts. It also has wonderful Gelato, coffees and hot chocolate. The shop is an old time building with a cozy atmosphere surrounded by paintings on walls of waterfalls and nationsl parks from when the place was a saloon. It makes you want to linger while you talk to friends or spouse over Gelato,coffee,or other treats. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Stams is a fantastic sweet shop. Their candies are amazing, their Gelato is really delicious and creamy and such a wonderful treat. It’s a really nice place to go have a treat, whether it a coffee, bonbon, gelato. Also try them on Sunday mornings at the Lafayette farmers market!! The people who work there are also really nice!! But hand try their tea haus teas! Very good!!!

Magical spot in a charming old town! The ambiance is cozy, inviting, and decadent! Each truffle is a work of art, the gelato is equal to what we’ve had in Italy, and the staff is always so friendly! There is a gorgeous piano in the front of the shop and I wish they had live music more often. One of the most enchanting spots in Lafayette and a *must visit*!

I just love this little shop! The chocolates are beautifully crafted in the cutest, most charming shapes (my son loves the buttercream filled dark chocolate hedgehogs ). Staff is always friendly, helpful, and patient as I carefully select my bonbons. As a bonus to my choco-buzz the hardwood paneling and art nouveau decor transport me back to my student days in Europe making Stam’s a real joy to visit.
