I really like this Panera location! Great employees and service! Of course the soup, salads, sandwiches, and coffee are excellent as,Panera is known for. This place needs a fireplace though and maybe a remodel, but it’s still much better than the new ‘express’ one up on Riverside. That one is very small inside, hard, uncomfortable seating, cold, hard floors, and a limited menu. Horrible idea by Panera, a new type of store design that I absolutely hate!! This older design on Perryville is decent though.

Placed an online order, went to pick up and i waited in drive thru over 15 mins. drove home opened my sandwich and it was FLAT. there was barely any meat, i drove back to location and told them to remake the sandwich. we spent $45 on three Pick Twos and i cant believe our sandwiches were all bread. that was my second time visiting this location, first time they forgot my soups. walking in this location, it smelled like burnt bread and confusion! no one had any idea what they were doing. so disappointing. i wont visit that location again

Panora Bread brings to mind soup in a bread bowl and a warm sandwich. I stopped by for a lunch after work and it wasn’t as impressive as it used to be. You order on a monitor pad, and are served by your name being yelled. Yet they ask for a tip… I haven’t quite figured out a tip when there’s no service… When my name was yelled my food was ready, they forgot my drink. The sandwich, a Cibatta Cheesesteak, looks like the meat was lost in the roll. Very little steak and even less cheese made it on to my Cibatta roll. It doesn’t look anything like the Menu pictures. The bread bowl seemed much smaller than I remember, but was very tasty and went very well with my broccoli cheddar soup. The baguette that accompanies most meals was dry and hard. Over all the meal was a disappointment. With as many food places as there are here in Rockford, it will be a while before I return. The food was good, but not very much protein and a lot of bread. Hmmmm, maybe the name Panera Bread should have tipped me off?

If you order online don’t do drive thru pick up. U will be waiting for 15 minutes while your food is getting cold. Fix your drive thru system pls. If food is not ready send them to park at designated spots that u have available. Why throw sauce in salad bowl?!?!

In this location you will spend 30 minutes waiting for your food. In that time you will have to wait to ask for towels to clean up your own table and chairs. While you continue to wait you can take their overflowing garbage out, restock their napkins, and refill their iced tea container as they will all be empty. This is quite possibly the worst run Panera I have ever been to.

I had a horrible experience at this location. Ordered soup, latte, cookie. It took 25 minutes. Zero customer service(I’ve never experienced anything like it. They refused to wait on customers standing in line). Order was wrong. But, the worst thing was when they asked me to fill out a survey detailing my experience. I got an immediate response apologizing and asking for my address so they could “make it right”. I gave them my address, they sent me nothing, lol. Why did you bother reaching out? I was just going to let it go, lmao.

We waited at LEAST 25 minutes for our order in a nearly empty dining area. Staff gave our order to us incomplete. I had to raise my voice a bit to get someone’s attention for help even though there were employees side eyeing me the whole time I stood. They don’t like talking to customers at all. They only pay attention to drive thru so would not recommend. Food was alright (when it finally all came). This location’s staff sucks.

Went for breakfast and ordered the steak and wake. Literally two pieces of meat, half a piece of cheese and no egg on the end of the loaf for my sandwich. Boyfriend’s sandwich was the ham croissant. The single piece of ham was sliced so thin it was translucent. Very disappointed. I heard bad things regarding this location and had to give it a chance due to being a newer location near our home and being big Panera fans. . We will not return to this location, will drive the extra couple of miles to go to the Perryville location. I suggest you do the same. $30 later and had to come to make breakfast. I would give it zero stars, but was not option as this location will not be either.
